Top! Great video. Thank you for sharing.
Did both, I have that gril on the way!
thats the way we cook our meat in argentina, we call it asado and that grill is called parrilla. great video cheers from buenos aires
Yep.....the Wood is what makes it Good! 🔥👍
1st time seeing this grill .. its exactly how I had explained to everyone around me before I seen this one....
Interesting cook. Love the outtakes at the end.
Very informative Sandy. Interesting concept.
That Nuke looks awesome, second one I’ve seen ! Big Lew speaks highly of it too ! Great cook Sandy ! Looking forward to more cooks on that grill !
Looks like a fun unit to cook on brother. Thanks for sharing!
Awesome looks fantastic love that grill
Great looking fajitas, on a great cooking grill. You are going to enjoy that one Sandy! Very informative video, thank you.
Awesome X 10 Awesome Grill!!
Funny bloopers at the end lol. I do that a lot. The Nuke seem like a nice grill and would love to own one. The fajitas looked great..!
First time seeing a Nuke Guacho grill it looks awesome and a delicious looking Chicken Fajita great cook. Thanks for sharing from Dad (Stephen).
Thank you for the video I have 2 smokers and have never seen a grill like this I love it I think I'm going to look into this thanks again for the video
I love that style of pit cooking over hot coals. I saw Lew's videos when he got his. I grew up cooking this way. We use to cook our whole hog with this style of cooking of course on a larger scale. Shoveling hot oak coals under the hog meat side down until done. The coals were about 20-24 inches below the meat. Produces good tasting meat. Love your new addition.
Pretty good video, Sandy. Love that grill.
Researching this grill and came across your channel! I will need to watch some of your other cooks!
Great vid mate. Love doing fajitas on the grill, but this gaucho is next level!
I am jealous, love your new grill.
What an awesome addition to the channel Sandy, love that gaucho! Great video as always brother!
Really cool grill Sandy! It is a lot of fun burning the wood in the brasero and then using the embers for the fuel, plus it taste excellent! The fajita looked KILLER!
Seems inefficient though
@@micheleb2558 Of course it is....cooking with fire is about feel, smell and sight. For those who don't appreciate that, just get a bog standard gas grill and call it a day...
I want one of these grills, they look so fun! Fajitas, look really tasty!
excellent review, didn't even know something like this existed. Learned something new today...
its an argentinian grill or parrilla, thats the way we do our bbq in argentina!
Genial 👏!!! Esa es la autentica parrilla Argentina donde se hacen los mejores asados con chimichurri . Saludos desde Argentina 👌
In Uruguay, we make roast meat that way. On weekends, family and friends gather to eat barbecue. I recommend looking for a "chivito" recipe. It is a meat sandwich, with bacon egg, ham, cheese, lettuce, tomato, olive, bell pepper, and onion. A madness is a typical Uruguayan dish. regards
Got to try that on with crunchy tacos. Looks delicious
Love that style of grill! Awesome video bro
Pitmaster X thanks so much for checking it out. Very humbled! Cheers!!
nice video, bravo
Great video , I think you are having way too much fun , but that sure is a fine piece of equipment you are using , nothing like real wood for aroma and of course flavour , thanks and take care .
Looked good Sandy. Some day soon you can the add the gaucho grill to you BBQ catering business. It will add a little bit more of the "caveman" experience. Most awesome example of cinematograpy on all of UA-cam. Them other suckers are gonna be so jealous.
hehe...ya can't change 1000's of years of evolution, it's in our blood :)
You're missing the main ingredient.A shovel.I'm uruguayan and we use a shovel to spread the coals as well as a rake. First thing at a South American asado is the fire, last thing is putting the fire out and finally without Chimichurri it isn't a asado.
Nice video, I´d love to see the cleaning process of this grills!
I dig it brother. Highly considering that gacho grill myself.
nice cook Sandy.wonder if junior will have a taste for something like that when he visits since he is out here and seeing stuff like this on the daily.take care!
i bet that tasted awesome!! great video 👍
Thank you 😋
You made me hungry!
But realy cool grill and video 😎
How long did it take to get a nice bed if coals you could cook with? This is a pretty cool setup btw.
Nice grill. Only question I had.. How sturdy is the cooking grate. Seen a couple other videos and it seems it’s unsteady when adjusting the height of the grate. Just curious. Thanks
Please I would love to see more videos on your new K
Where did you get your grill apron from
This thing looks sweet and I’m a huge fan of this style but the coal moving looks tedious. Is it adjustable?
great video, add some chimichurri on the next video
What length sticks or wood is needed?
Is it easy to remove the grate? I was just thinking maybe it would be a good idea to start a fire under the grate and on the side to get it going. Have you ever tried that?
What type of wood are you using?
What was the name of the hot sauce from Thunder Bay?
I have never seen one of those Nuke's.
Where can I get one grill like this ?
Im from Argentina I have been looking for one for years here in the US. I may be getting one soon? How is the quality of it? Do you think it will last for a couple of years?
xXTitanfallXx me encanta la mía. Es la mejor parrilla argentina que se puede conseguir en EE.UU. por un precio razonable
how does it hold up
My brother has it right now...still going strong.
Add some light music in the background to keep viewers attention. Overall good video
The grill looks nice but moving forward, you must take into consideration the wind direction. I saw smoke and ashes blowing into your face and towards the camera. The grill can always be rotated as needed, I hope it helps. Good luck!
Marcelo Oliveira great analysis and suggestions. Same to you.
Wash it down with a delicious bud light
You know my EX WIFE used to say "why does it take so long for you to cook?"
Maybe you guys have an answer?
I know it's been a while, and i also know you got your hands full. If you get a chance, plz send a prayer to Robert Lewis, Big Lew BBQ. He has unexpectedly lost the
love of his life of over 20 years, due to illness. The storm didn't help much either, i will do what i can to help....a friend Y.G. NYGHTSTORM has a great post, you

This is overpriced 1800 this should be 1300 they are better options
What are some other options?... I have been looking hard for a similar cooker. This one still seems best, since it has a lid, and fire grate is adjustable.. They are $1300 right now, so very tempting.
No
No offense..but whats with the sour cream...white people love to add that to anything mexican..go to any mexican restaurant in south texas or mexico and its unheard off....but whatever floats you boat.
Guillermo Ramirez well.....I don’t live in Texas or Mexico, and it’s my backyard.
Seems kinda pointless....
So is your comment. Thanks for watching.
Jus' Piddlin BBQ Boy how was my comment pointless? It’s an opinion. Seems like more work than necessary for the same flavor u could get from a kettle- without having to move coals over. But I guess in butt-fk Ga, differing opinions aren’t welcome. Shame, I enjoyed ur channel until u just got emotional.
Ben C people have done this type of grill cooking for hundreds of years. Probably not pointless to them. I’ve done kettle cooks as well, but for me, the kettle is pretty boring. To each his own, but not sure what you expected from your comment. If you don’t like it then don’t use it. I’m just sharing something different.
Jus' Piddlin BBQ I thought the whole point of the vids and comments were for discussion. My initial comment wasn’t a dig at you or the vid itself. It was just my first reaction to seeing the process of using this grill, especially when I compared it to our traditional grills.
The grill itself looks more practical for a long day of cooking where you can have the wood/ coal burning on the side for a constant supply of heat.
Jus' Piddlin BBQ But you are right in that it is different.
