some of my tips as a day 1 OG type soul kendo player. these are pretty specific though 1. crescent relief into hemorrhage v2 and flowing petals v2 is true 2. when someone flower passages to you, you can use delayed crossings to cancel it if you are out of mobility 3. since delayed crossings has hyperarmor to some extent, you can use it to overpower moves like heavenly cannon, goryu, shori, etc or any moves that ragdoll. 4. when someone blooming cuts to you or uses any teleporting move, you can garuntee overpowering slash if you time it right. 5. abuse flash fakeout. best move in the game ong 6. against hakuda, a lot of people like to instantly overpowering slash. nowadays, hakuda players like to spine rend instantly to counter this, so if you see the startup of spine rend, block then overpowering slash. if you don't, then you can do it immediately. or just parry if you're not ass 7. when someone is blockbroken, choose your next move wisely. don't m1 or use low damaging moves as that would be a wasted opportunity. instead, use something like crescent or rising swallow or eviscerate. 8. an exception to #7 is sonata flow. it is buggy atm and when that person gets out of stun, they can parry the second part of sonata. 9. don't use horizon core right now. at the moment, vertical down + split gate does more damage. they gutted horizon to the ground. 10. instead of feinting flower passage, as a mixup, you can move backwards to purposefully miss the 1/2 of the second part to mess up their parry. 11. cornea/acid z into rising swallow can be true 12. when using non-guardbreaking moves, try your best to dash or jump behind them to land moves easier. 13. if a speed user is spectre stepping you and consistently feints the second part of it, you can time a rising swallow to get free damage. same with any other move 14. this is well known, but people like to counter flower passage so you can bait it out and purposefully miss it 15. obviously vizard/letzt have their own move variants so do some experimenting and research to find out exactly what each move does so you can better combo off of them. 16. miracle g can be true into sonata 17. against players with counters, (goes for any skill tree) keep an eye on their cooldown. people like to spam counters as soon as they can, so once you think it's off cooldown, try baiting them out with feint m1s or by dashing through them when you would normally attack 18. crescent relief's range is INSANELY big so it's really hard to miss. you can kind of just spam this as most people either can't parry it or won't expect it to hit them. 19. try to gauge your opponent's posture. if they block an eviscerate, you can throw a mortal ties out and blockbreak them. if they block flower passage, anything will blockbreak them. this is somewhat difficult but if you can master it it is extremely important idk i was bored lol lmk if any of this is inaccurate also i make montages n stuff im a blood main rn ;o
@@ФадеевРоман-у2ю generally hakuda players get you into the air and spine rend instantly to counter hyperarmor. you usually dont want to use counters or hyperarmor instantly unless you know they wont/cant spine rend you. when you get put in the air, check for the startup of spine rend (red stuff) and block it, otherwise you can use hyperarmor or counter. I always recommend trying to dash or parry because sometimes if the hakuda is fast, they. can hit you before your counter or hyperarmor comes out

For everyone playing horizon essence if u hit someone with it turn around and use vertical down then it does the true pierce (idk what's it called) just as if you used vertical down then split gate
Yeah I've always done it before but it's extremely hard to land because sometimes it doesn't knock back enough or people go right through it sometimes cause of game mechanics but when u do land it, the damage goes crazy
You should have mentioned Delayed crossing. Vizard and Letz variant of this move has a true stun which allows you to connect rising swallow after the successful hit with Delayed. Arrancar proficiency variant crossing doesn't have this feature.
yeah thats true, theres a lot more stuff i could have put in but i just didnt really want to make the video too long, might make a part 2 eventually idk

I was told by a leaderboard player to play passive but this is telling me to play aggressive which usually helps for legit all builds playing passive got me a good amount of L’s cause I figured I must of been doing it wrong but thanks
the leaderboard player telling you to play passive is kinda true but also kind of not. Super high elo gameplay like leaderboard ranked DOES usually have quite passive gameplay, but that's just kind of how it goes when a really good play is up against another really good player, 99% of the time its better to play aggressive against 99% of players in my opinion. but that doesn't mean just turn your brain off and spam, i just mean keep the pressure on and really just dont let them do anything 👍
The 2nd tip only works if the specter step player doesn’t know how to feint the last specter step slash or hit the first slash at the right time, because if they predict your overpowering slash timing they can cancel it by doing the first strike as it doesn’t have frame 1 hyperarmor, or they can just feint the 2nd strike at the end and dodge/parry the overpowering slash after feinting because they aren’t in the slash animation. As for the 5th tip, if they know it’s coming you can pretend you’ll rising swallow from the back but instead right before you do the push away animation turn to the SIDE (as you can literally change direction anytime during the move) and then sonata towards the side, and they’ll dash into the sonata as they are dashing to the side instead of dashing out of it if you were backwards. So you would 180 degree turn, then before the 3rd slash of rising turn another 90 degrees.
question is how do you land flower passage most of the time, most people just flashstep away once your close and your flower passage ends, that's the only trouble im having and good players adapt to the feint and start punishing you for feinting it sometimes
its pretty easy to land flower passage once you're used to it but that'll just come with time, and as for the feinting its pretty hard to punish the feint. but if people ARE punishing you for it, then just switch it up and DON'T feint to throw them off 👍
are you on pc? if so all you've got to do is right click right after the first stab from the flower passage hits and obviously before the 2nd 2 slashes
