sir, I gota question to ask you and if you can give me any advise for it I will appreciate it very much, I have a glock17 gen5 MOS I already have the holuson HS 507C and a surefire X300U on it then bought the alien gear level 3 retention with a quick disconnect, the problem I encounter with the holster is whenever I withdraw the pistol from the holster it leaves scratches on the two sides of the barrell, question is is that natural? its just so annoying `when I withdraw the gun from theholster it leave scratches but the good thing is once wipe those scratches came off, pls. need help to fixed the problem, already told alien gear about the problem and they send me anew holster and its still the same.is there any recomendation you can give me pls? any adjustment somewere that you can tell me? and also notice that the passive retention on the guide there were 5 lines when I check on the holster itself it only has 4 lines to adjust, I did mention this to their customer service and they told me that was for the first construction of the holster guide what I have is the new edition. do youthink this also affect the holster? I bet your holster has the 5 lines passive retention meter. again if theres anything you can advise me pls. to solve the problem I will kindly appreciate, thank you.
You can try taking a bit of sandpaper and take down the highspots on the inside of your holster. It is very common to have holster wear on a lot of rigs. I actually like my rigs with good wear on them because it means your using it. I know it sucks to have a nice new gun and get wear on it butt its just part of it. Anyway, good luck I hope it works out for you. I'm about to invest in the alien gear holster myself. Give the sandpaper a try it might suprise you.
i tried but the mouting holes dont work. if you drill new holes in the qls fork, possibly but have not done that yet. would be nice if it was compatible
Yes it will IF you select the G17 holster model. An MOS is just a milled down version actually making it a smaller profile than a standard G17 while running optics. Also the light port is extra big to accommodate all popular lights with the TLR H1 being one.
Thanks for passing on your info. I do think the review for LEO was a bit out of your lane though. Why some might ask? While a fair amount of LEO range time is spent on a square range it would have been helpful to get a report of weapon side prone shooting. Think the buttons and levers might get stuck when debris is introduced? Then introduce it and lets find out! That's how to you evaluate an item. I saw your finger on the trigger during manipulation too. ;)
I agree and not negating that. Not asking why, I know exactly why. Aside from shooting from alternate prone positions another concern is retention during scuffles, someone trying to take gun, etc, you know, assuming youre a LEO. unfortunately not every cop is versed in all that, poor, underfunded, heck, qualifying once maybe twice a year, tea cupping cuz its all they know. Not generalizing but like the military, just cuz ur a cop or a soldier, doesnt make you a proficient shooter/soldier/cop. And good eye 😜 I try my best to keep the booger hook off the trigger. Check out some of my more recent videos on instagram @mrpewlife, got video of my buddies 9 year old son shredding the range better than a lot of adults i know, behind barricades, shooting under barricades, awesome stuff. Hi, thanks for the info and the video. Do you know if this will fit a compensator (zev oz9 standard with a light and compensator, the oz9 fits glock17/19 holsters)? It looks like from the video's and pictures I have seen, the bottom is closed, but I'm willing to modify the holster to fit the compensator in.

19 with a comp more likely not, my comped 19x def does not fit but i havent dremeled out the bottom yet.
