I subscribed because you are the ONLY youtuber I have come across who has the exact same hair as me !!! 🥰 🙌🏼 I too jumped on the Snot bandwagon (creme of nature) and I hated it 🥴 I walked around looking like Medusa while it dried - it gave me the worst cast I have ever experienced and I just could not scrunch it all out! Nightmare !!! Also- during application I may have gone slightly heavy in a few spots around the back bottom of my head area and after the cast had set it hurt soo bad like someone was pulling my hair 😦 I had to go in with a spray bottle just to dissolve it as I couldn’t seperate my hairs !! 😨 it was like superglue! I never used it again ! Total fail !!
Thank you! I will re try the Snot in the shower, but I do think if you're stuck and have nothing else you could make it work, otherwise though there are so many great products that are much less fiddly to use x

Emulsify the gel with water before using (ie spray water on your hands). Looks great though! FWIW I didn't get on with the Creme of Nature version, it was just too much for my hair.
Does your hair last until next wash day with this gel? My 2b hair is fine on wash day but there is so much frizz on day 2 and onwards. I am looking for a gel that will continue till next wash day. Is this gel good for that?
Hey, I have the same hair type as you and was wondering what you do to keep your waves fresh after wash day? The night after wash day I end up having to straighten my hair because its just filled with frizz and like no waves are left.
@@emmalynnelson8257 sorry mate i dont know the solution yet. I bought the gorilla snot and wash day is fine, but all the cast doesnt go until you sleep. Day 2, about half the waves are lost, but you can still see some waviness so its a pass. Day 3 onwards it just looks messy because of stringiness. Not too frizzy, but still no definition.
I added it into a spray bottle with a lot of water but it had almost no hold. Whatever hold it had disappears if the curl gets disturbed. Like 1:3 water. Next time i will try applying it directly to my 2b wet waves

I came to the comments to say that exact thing!! Keep your hands wet and if it clumps up in your hair wet your hair in that spot a little more!!

Have you tried adding water to the gel to thin it a bit before applying? It says on the bottle that water reactivates it, so shouldnt be an issue. ☺
