Thank you for a nice explanation I've never edited photos but Iam interested since I've got the Xperia 1 v and can shoot in raw now. Your explanation is gold so even a dummy like me get it I will keep on watching and subscribe. If u know any editing tools for the phone that's good please make another explanation vid of it 😊😊
Thank you 👍 glad it helped 🙂 in terms of app you can use Lightroom mobile however it won't include some of the more complex features like AI denoising for example but it will allow you to start colour grading.
I use lightroom app on the phone because its free and on my pc rawtherapee. I think its possible to upscale photos in rawtherapy from 12mp to 24mp. have you had any experience with this? Cause sony xperia only makes 12mp photos unfortunately :( and i want to be able to print my photos on a paper and hang them on a wall. 24mp would have been an improvement for that already. i have not tried it out myself yet
It all depends on the size of the print as if you go watch my video about photo print from the Xperia 1V they're good enough for much larger than you think. Now when you upscale you have to remember that it's still "upscaled" at the end of the day and nowhere near the "real" thing. Now having said that I haven't used rawtherapee but I know one of the best softwares when it comes to upscaling is Gigapixel AI by Topaz Labs, it does an amazing job at upscaling and adding detail that wasn't there in the first place 👍
Question for anyone here. I am looking at purchasing the Xperia 1 V and would like to know if the editing on Lightroom Classic was done with the SD Card from the camera. Thank you !
The video was made using lightroom classic, aka the most complete version of lightroom. Lightroom mobile has less features and nowhere near as precise as the desktop.
Hey, not sure if I understand your question right but yes I colour correct all my photos from RAW as it allows for much deeper colour correction that's way as opposed to editing a jpeg that will degrade far too quick

Thanks for all your hard work putting this together!

Thank you very much, your examples are very inspiring for my own experiments.
We are waiting for a lecture on using accessories.
🤣 a lecture ? Don't know how I should take this lol
I'm so impressed by the quality of the photos in RAW even without grading. Great video
Thanks really appreciate 😊 the RAWS do need work as with any RAW file but they're a good blank canvas to start with 👌
❤❤❤🎉🎉🎉
Thanks !
You're welcome, glad it helps 😊merry Xmas 🎄

@@UpsideLens ill check that video out soon :) thanks 😎
Would you still achieve these results using LR mobile?
Not 100% no, as LR mobile doesn't have all of LR classics features like the much improved AI denoising and other colours grading options.

Thank you !
You can either use an SD card or just transfer the raw files onto a computer wirelessly or via cable 👍
@@UpsideLens Thanks ! I assume that there is no degradation in quality with sD vs In Camera transfer via cable ?
@Festvangelist no there isn't, the files are the same. You're just saving on an SD card or on the internal memory, doesn't make any difference.
Good Morning…just would like to confirm that Lightroom Luanda Lightroom Classic LRC use the same ( or similar) masking tools. Thanks again.
