- Garden maintenance is a real thing on the homestead. Something I am getting used to as well. Thank you for following our journey.
Great garden ❤
Suggestion: Grow frilly lettuce instead of head lettuce. It's harvested like spinach. therefore, lasts longer. I planted 10 seedlings of green and 10 red in april, and now its end of August, and im still harvesting from them.
This is such a good idea and you are so right. We want something we can eat for a more extended period. Thank you so much. 😃
Your vegetables garden looks like a Japanes Zen garden... so neat.
Thank you. now i am stuck on Pinterest looking for the Japanese gardens 🤣🤣

You have earned yourself a new subscriber ❤I'm so happy to see a fellow South African gardening channel mtase
Thanks 🙂. Definitely want more South Africans to get into growing their own food.
Love the new raised bed garden. Its beautiful and the plants seem to love it too. The bees love borage flowers.
That's even better news for us. Cant wait to have borage flower 🙂
You've done so well! Good job.
Thanks Veronique 😊
Congratulations 🎉 keep up the hard work 💪
Thank you. we keep pushing indeed
I love your garden
Thank you. We had a small extension so stay tuned for that 😊
Your garden is looking wonderful.
Thank you so much. Its still a work in progress.
Thats awesome. You have progressed so much over the months and your hard work paid off.Well done❤
Thank you so much. Baby steps but we will get there 🙂
Love the raised beds; I see you went home with the mulching :); Very inspiring; Keep up the hard work!
Thanks so 'mulch' 😂. What we want to do on the homestead is make it manageable. So less time de-weeding etc. Its an upfront investment but its so worth it.
Wow! Thanks for your inspiring video & sharing your knowledge🌻
Thanks Amanda 🙂. So many lessons that this tiny garden is teaching us.
Well done, I'm proud of you guys. I just found your channel. Blessings from Cape Town.
Thank you. So glad to have you on our journey from the Mother city.
Beautiful garden. Amazing work. Inspirational
Thank you, so glad that we can inspire.
Inspiring scenes and ideas, good job you two. We are at 2C this morning, so I am quite late on seedlings.
Keep growing. Good food.
Thanks Marlon. Really cant believe its still that cold over there. We hit over 33 this Wednesday. Hoping you get better weather. Guess you have to build that greenhouse after all 😂
Great job, l have been watching since you started and l'm motivated.
Do you even see any changes here? 😂 Many days it feels like things are just moving too slow. Thanks for being a day 1.
@@millennialhomesteader Trust me, everytime a watch your new video l see a difference. Rome was not built in one day. Overall you guys are doing a great job.😍
Beautiful garden
Thank you
Lovely garden,so nice with the flowers!🌻🌼 What climate do you have ? Just wondering, l live in south Australia, l thought your climate maybe similar to mine ...
Thanks Helena. We have warm weather in our region. We get sun most of the year, mild to hot subtropical weather and have lots of rainfall during summer.
Thanks, our summers are hot and dry with winter rain, your climate is more like Queensland Australia. Wish you many abundant harvests!❤
Your garden look good 🌻.
Why do you put CD’s on your raised beds?
Thanks. Birds are said to be deterred from landing on or near garden vegetables if their vision is distracted. This is an an attempt to keep them off the beds. It has been working to an extent 😂
It's looking good in the garden. You're doing a great job.🌞🤎
Thank you 🙂. Amazing how much still needs to be done. But we are happy with the recent progress.
