you know the new pm of Japan Fumio Kishida is a demon slayer fan and he pledged to support the anime industry, even the opening theme of demon slayer was played at the closing ceremony of Tokyo Olympics. This shows how this anime is so close to Japan's heart. Ufotable did justice to all that emotions and even more. Hands down to the best animation ever

Here comes the ufotable of reacting AGAIN! Hey again! Here's an explanation of uzui's musical score (楽譜 or Gakufu) - Uzui has analyzed manuevers to the point where he can read them like music sheets. He converts the rhythm of the enemies attack into a sound so that every fight becomes a song to him. He hears repeated phrases and can attack between beats and during the rest, dancing with his opponent. But in return he needs to battle them for quite a long time to analyze properly. the thing I love about demon slayer is there's always a sense of dread in any battle against a demon and it intensified by like a hundred now that they're facing an upper moon. you can also always feel the difference (in terms of physical limits) between demons and humans too aside from the demons outright pointing in out, it's also very apparent with how the battle progresses too. AND WE'RE JUST STARTING TO SCRATCH THE SURFACE. As a manga reader, I can't help but feel the excitement of what comes next for the series especially one particular battle that I won't talk about to avoid spoilers but the way it brought out so many emotions for me in the manga. I'm not ready for it to be animated o(-(
The sense of dread is so real! Yeah the physical limits of just being a human is such an interesting dynamic. Just the fact that once they lose an hand or get damaged they can’t just regenerate like a demon is always in the back of our minds! We live this series and can’t wait to see more!

Can I just say that you guys are one of the only reaction channels that have their videos at 4K quality. It boggles my mind lmao. BUT ANYWAYS! You got a new sub from moi, and holy moly that episode was insanity. One thing that I noticed about Tanjiro's Sun Breathing mark is that there was 2 of them?! One that covered his original scar, and 1 that was on his cheek. I have no clue what that signifies but it's something or another. They kept topping both the animation and the cliffhangers with each episode, lol. This was, indeed, god-tier animation… basically movie quality. And I also like the foreshadowing or resonances from previous episodes. For example, Uzui told Gyutaro at the first confrontation that his tsuguko (Tanjiro, Zenitsu, and Inosuke) were of the highest caliber and would keep fighting even if their limbs were chopped off. Unfortunately, it was his own hand that was chopped off, and the others had grave injuries but they never stopped fighting. And when Gyutaro first came after Tanjiro, it was an intended stab to his chin; though at that time Uzui saved Tanjiro by flinging him out of the way, this episode Tanjiro actually gets hit with the same attack. And Inosuke talking about how flexible he is, like the way he can dislocate every joint allows him to give some credence to him being able to move his internal organs. I don’t know how realistic that is, but I’m gonna accept it if it allows him to stay alive for the series, lol.
And I wonder if the 45 minutes is the actual run time. It could be that the 45 minutes is for TV airing time. This means some time will be taken up by commercials and maybe the opening and end song and recap in the beginning.

Most demons take some time to die after the head is cut off. Just the arrow demon in season 1 kept attacking Tanjiro for some time while disintegrating, and he wasn't even one of the twelve moons ^^'

Episode 19 has that feels, especially with the credits. This episode has that top tier animation.
Both were so good! Top two for sure! Yeah the feels in 19 really evokes some strong emotions and it also had beautiful animation as well. Its a hard choice but props to Shirai-san for directing both! And also Koyoharu Gotōge for creating such a wonderful world filled with so many great characters!

Most cell phones record in 4k nowadays, but we use a sony a6400 with sigma 16mm f1.4!! Great value nice and wide for this particular shot to get two people in with out us being squeezed! If you have any other questions about the set up I would love to answer them for you!

Tanjiro's new transformation is probably his new power. You can see Ufotable always reveal new power of Tanjiro in every season (The Hinokami Kagura for the 1st season, introduced in episode 19 and now The Mark or The Scar whatever it calls which has just introduced in this Episode of Season 2).
Let just call his new power is The Mark. You can see that the transformation of this Mark is like burning, his hair and also the Mark is glowing red too like a burning fire. Remember when fighting Daki, Tanjiro once mentioned that the more his temperature grow, the more powerful he is, So this Mark must have made him stronger (like a Super Saiyan mode lol) that's why he easily cuts Gyuutaro's head although Tanjirou is kinda weak right now.
But that's just my guess, we don't know what exactly gonna be in the future but I believe Ufotable will soon explain to us this new form in the next season just like how they explain The Hinokami Kagura in season 2. As long as Ufotable keep making this Anime, we don't have to worry about the quality, just stay still and waiting.

And wasn't there an other Demon who did something after death or at least as they were getting their head chopped? I feel like this is just his last ditch to try and kill everyone. Best animation I've ever seen. Emotional not on par with E19 for me, that episode really hit me HARDCORE(and the music was peeeerfect). Animation wise this is way better imo and waaaaaay more budget($80k per episode). Sucks because I want waay more episodes but they wouldn't be like this.

Seriously I still am very bummed that this season is soo short(I do NOT count the movie episodes getting ported over) but there's no way we would have gotten these RIDICULOUS budget episodes if not for the shortened season. It's a double edged sword and it really sucks. Because like I REALLY want future seasons to be longer as I really felt this season had some pacing issues and anytime they did humor or stuff that felt like it was dragging I was like ahh wtf. Where if it was a 20+ episode season i'd be ALL for it. But then we lose budget, hopefully next season it's somewhat in the Middle like 16-18.
A longer season would be great! I’m sure they will just continue to give ufotable all the money they want because this series is breaking so many records! It’s really changing the way people are looking at anime in general and it’s great! This and AoT are being anime to to forefront and we love it!
