Maple is on track to a good line of questioning. I mean if you choose to take out all of the superhero/extraterrestrial/ sci-fi elements out, it’s a pretty simple problem that most closed societies with delusions of racial superiority tend to run into after a few dozen generations or so. Nuff said.
Yes they would because Godzilla doesn't CARE about attacking cruise ships. It doesn't just randomly attack for shits and giggles, you know. Godzilla is actually Earth's defender. It defends the planet; not the human that are barely a blink on the planet's life span. This Kaiju was likely minding it's business when the cruise ship came upon it's territory. When you think about 98% of all these Kaiju monster movies that's really all there is to it. WE (humanity) actually disturb THEM. Of course there ARE exceptions, such as Pacific Rim but generally WE are the ones messing with their territory for our own entitled and arrogant reasons.
Amber's choice of words is strange. "Ditch me at the con"?? I mean she's WITH Mark now right?? It doesn't matter how much they hate it; but when a girlfriend or wife KNOWS about the superhero thing and CHOOSE to stay the girlfriend or wife, they DO NOT get to try and guilt their partner or act like they're being neglected. You don't like sharing the hero?? then LEAVE. Don't stay with them and act entitled. Forcing them to feel guilty WILL create resentment.
Humans are terrible about risk assessment. I'm pretty sure that the cruise passengers just assume some superhero will come along to save them if something goes wrong. Which is kind of what happened.
For the love of God, do NOT look at the comments; there'll probably be spoilers from the comics. I don't know what's wrong with everyone, but people just can't seem to help themselves.
I'm glad Mark and Amber broke up only just so I don't have to hear Maple complain about her anymore, Jesus Christ. We get it. You hate her. Having it brought up constantly was just tiresome. i assume they want mark to relent and agree to be their man on the ground on behalf of the empire with the impression that earth will be more likely to submit if a human/viltrum hybrid is the campaign leader
Nolan made it very clear their goal is to conquer. If they just wanted them did Nolan would've just wrecked the planet and moved on
They need mark cos their forces are thin. Thousands of planets require a lot of manpower
5:16 “PARKER PARKER I need a photographer”
Are we going to ignore the fact that Rex explodes power is very similar to the gambits
"you need to be training and you are not" so all the villians hes been fighting isnt training? also hes been dealing with non stop bullshit he literally never gets break so when do you expect him to do this training
In the comics, the GDA puts together a cool electromagnetic weightlifting setup for him to train with but idk if they'll show it in the show.
@@NevTheDeranged thats cool id like to see that
ahhhh so it finally begins poor lil Marky
"(Anissa)'s kinda' hot"
Oh...no...they don't know....
22:00 The answer to that is a slight spoiler but let's just say...they can't spare him.
So does the relationship between Mark and Amber indeed demonstrate that Opposites don't Attract? Or are we still Gung Ho about Opposites attracting? 🙂
She couldn't kill mark because their are literally only 50 viltrumites left. That's their secret. Conquest doesn't give a flying shi tho
I found you guys through Invincible, but I’ve quietly also been watching some of your other reactions. I vibe with you both so much. Dating yourself isn’t something I’ve ever thought about, but I love that idea and I think I know some people that could probably benefit from doing something like that. Hope you have a great week!
Oh the whole mark and levy throw down will have you going nuts I think
17:59 fr id never get on the water 😂😂
In season 1 Amber was so far removed from how she was written in the comic. Fsns complained and the show corrected.
The Fergie reference had me geeking 😂😂🤣
She makes a good point. It snt hard to stop the power hungry fools from destroying parts of the world
it is for mark how do you stop them without killing them
Have you noticed that in her monster form, Monster Girl becomes male. It's part of the curse.😢
pls volume up!
Maple is on track to a good line of questioning. I mean if you choose to take out all of the superhero/extraterrestrial/ sci-fi elements out, it’s a pretty simple problem that most closed societies with delusions of racial superiority tend to run into after a few dozen generations or so. Nuff said.
Also back when Nolan and Debbie were dating Nolan actually was invincible, and presumably won all his fights with ease
24:12 'Worlds slowest break up'
Yep, 7 episodes of this was way too long. If they did the comics version of Amber, she would be even more disliked.
y'all need to get in the habit of recapping after a break if you're going to forget this much between episodes.
They're are reason they don't. You'll find out later. Or sooner if u really think about y
I wanna say that the post episode discussion for this video was excellent. Really funand insightful to listen to. Look forward to the next epizode!!!
16:02 RIGHT?!?
thank god they didn't stick to the comics in this episode.
There is a good reason why the Viltrumites are targeting Earth and why they haven't killed Mark yet.
Awesome reaction of my favorite episode of Invincible!!!!!!😊😊😊😊😊
Another will come…do they mean Conquest???
Humans are terrible about risk assessment. I'm pretty sure that the cruise passengers just assume some superhero will come along to save them if something goes wrong. Which is kind of what happened.
It's crazy how familiar you look "maple" I swear I've seen u in susanville
Kinda of a stalkery thing to say, friendo.
Respect to ariana for the pink ranger love
20:51 😂😂😂😂
Yes, but how many dates did you go on before... Was it the old standard of 3, or did you make yourself really work for it.
Wo I actually had a crush on Amy Jo Johnson.
Had him calling her daddy
"The world's longest breakup." -- Based on my own experience, I completely disagree.
"I would never be able to eat spaggetti again"
-Maple
U will find out y they need mark
For the love of God, do NOT look at the comments; there'll probably be spoilers from the comics. I don't know what's wrong with everyone, but people just can't seem to help themselves.
These 2 are getting obnoxious and so slow on certain shows
Feels like you guys are watching the show just to pick it apart rather than trying to enjoy it 😐
They’re literally reacting. You can’t just sit there silently watching for content
ty for 999 liked behind me :D
I'm glad Mark and Amber broke up only just so I don't have to hear Maple complain about her anymore, Jesus Christ. We get it. You hate her. Having it brought up constantly was just tiresome.
You talk about how empathetic you both are, but then don't offer any of that empathy to Amber. Really feel like most everyone misunderstands her. It's just so disappointing.
"Just kill him , why u need hi"
Do i tell them...
Aw, y'all cut out Bulletproof's rundown of his fellow Guardians for the UA-cam version of this reaction. It was one of the best parts of the episode. 😢
Also, it's pretty ironic that the writers seemed to choose what's probably gonna be Amber's final episode as a relevant character to bring back the snark she had in Season 1.
Anissa is the worst of them. She's horrible
Don’t know if anyone’s told you, but you talk a little too much over the video you’re supposed to be reacting to.
