I made a FREE guide that breaks down the "Foundational 8" These are the 8 types of exercises I do to build a strong, healthy body And I've included step-by-step video tutorials You can get it at this link: eepurl.com/gqdPSr
Thanks for the information, lve suffered a lower spine injury and have carefully rehabed,lm investing in one of these benches to further improve my lower spine, just want to say thank you for your time instructing us with this piece of equipment, kind regards Roy
Thanks JT for all of the knowledge that you share. Never really considered the hips as all that important but I think you make a great case for training them and your lower body in this video. As a young man it is always tempting to just focus on upper body but since switching to bodyweight/calistenics only for about 6 months (formerly doing standard weight lifting bro split) I have shifted my focus to creating a more 3 dimensional body meaning focusing on strength, flexability/mobility, and cardio and not only paying attention to the superficial aspects such as appearance. Better for mental health and the nice physique will come with focusing on the entire body and all of the the aspects of conditioning and performance not just the glamourous ones. Btw hope everything in Cali gets better soon with those fires. As an east coaster I have seen the photos and video of San Fran and it looks like something out of an apocolyptic movie. Stay safe!
We are safe, albeit with terrible air. And you are 100% right, focus on getting strong from head to toe. Muscle mass and physique will follow. And the nice thing about strong glutes is they will make you better at whatever other training or physical activities you do.
I usually grab to 2-10bs plates, run through 15-20 reps, drop a plate, crank out that many more, and then drop the 2nd plate and finish. Usually 2 drop sets like that in a session, a couple times a week.
Hey just some advice, is the 45 degree chair or 90 degree roman/hyperextension bench better? I want to mainly use it for strengthening the lower back. I'm decently athletic, so yeah any advice helps.
I’m new to your channel. Nice fitness workout for the glutes. Thanks for your video. 🔥🔥🔥 Let’s stay connected. (I'm actually in Southern CA too! Stay SAFE!)
It’s been outside in the rain for 1.5 years and only light rust. Not sure about salt water, but they are going for less than 150 so even if you only get a couple years out of it it’s not a bad deal for that price. I have it on my Amazon shop at Amazon.com/shop/Jerryteixeira It’s the cap barbell squat rack pull up bar
Would really appreciate an update on your carnivore'ish diet and if you've made any more changes/any new insights etc (if you're still eating that way that is!). I am going to try 30 days carnivore in November to see if it can help with chronic fatigue syndrome, I would really love to be able to workout again... Btw fantastic physique!!
What kind of weekly schedule do you recommend for muscle growth and strength. Fullbody 3 times pr week or split programs? I would like to have a bigger focus on legs and back.
You can program full body or split. The only drawback to full body is you will want to keep the intensity high throughout the whole session. If you are doing a lot of total sets, it ay be hard to maintain intensity throughout the while full body session
@@JerryTeixeira when you see roman chairs at the gym they often have plates on the bottom half just to keep em from tipping over. If you're tall with a high center of gravity, it's happens every time

Interested in your thoughts on a Roman Chair Vs. the Back Extension. :)
Sir, I do this in my Gym to decompress my herniated
L4-L5 vertebra disc. Is it OK. I am only 85 years old.
Very nice...thanks!
Thank you for watching
What is your review on this machine? (Quality) thinking of buying the same one or looking for another
Is it bad for lower back? Every time I do this , all I feel is lower back in the form of pain. Ty
Thanks for the video. Is the Roman chair the stamina brand?
Awesome video man as always 💪👍

I gave you a sub
Can you put a link to the squat rack that you leave outside please? Are you near the ocean? Wondering if salt air will ruin it

When I’m in the hyper bench, I always feel like my knees are hyperextended.

New friend here
Welcome 💪🏻
Would love to see you on Whitney Cummings podcast.
I am always happy to be on anyones cast, large or small. Obviously she has a large reach, so I would be more than happy.
Jerry Teixeira you’re married so that brings you down a mark on her guest list 😂 jk
Pretty sure she would roast me either way
❤️❤️❤️❤️
Hello
These things always need to be counterbalanced with 50 pounds if I don't want them to flip over. How do people not tip em?
How would you tip this forward? I have never seen that or had it even come close to happening.

Hello Brother
Doing one rep to demonstrate some of these moves is not helpful. I had to keep going back. Assume your viewer has a knowledge level of zero.
It was amazingly helpful as an absolute beginner
