This was so informative, thank you so much. I’m thinking about pursuing a career in marketing and now I have a clearer idea of what I want to do. I think I fit being a strategic planner 🙌🏾
These videos are SO helpful! I’m an advertising student and this is the only place I’ve found online that actually gives a thorough inside look into the ad world. It would be sooo helpful if you could do an interview or more in depth video explaining some of the other jobs like production manager or project manager. I’m majoring in creative advertising with an art direction concentration but feeling like project or product manager would be a better fit! Thanks again so much!!!
Glad you are finding value in them. I probably won’t make videos over those exact positions since I’m not as much of an expert in those categories but I highly recommend reaching out to people in those positions and getting advice on LinkedIn. Lots of people are at the ready to help.
It’s a tough choice. Just have to explore, see which one you enjoy more, and double down on improving your skills. If you want to be an Art Director just keep making stuff and you’ll improve. If you want to be a copywriter just keep trying your hand at clever headlines and bold body copy. Don’t worry if you’re not polished at the moment. It comes with time.
