I am not Chinese ,and I don’t know any Chinese ,I have some Indian friends when it comes to compare China ,and India ,my Indian friends call China a communist state and name india as democracy ,I can see jealousy in their faces ,but when I have the same conversation with a Chinese ,they never comment in a negative way against India ,to me this is the difference between a Chinese and an Indian.

Chinese railway system had some bad time in 80s and 90s, especially during Chinese new year time. But it is improving fast and constantly. And the education of the public in terms of maintaining hygiene and order has been working very well. 😊

40 year ago. China was like india. It was very crowded. I remember when i was a little kid fighting to get on the bus. But it was still a little cleaner then india because government gave people jobs to clean.

Growing up in China in the 1990s I remember the China’s central government showed on TV how clean and advanced was Japanese train. It was such shock for the average Chinese people, that a country that was bombed twice by atomic bombs became so advanced.
Then it became like an obsession for China to pursue the same advancement. I can’t believe China achieved it within 3 decades.

@@xodiac2020 I was saying for decades China was looking up to learn from Japan, a country was completely destroyed by the Americans in WW2, but against all odds Japan rebuilt everything from the ashes and became one of the most advanced economies. Btw different parts of China were probably learning/imitating various countries but at least for South China, the economic development models was heavily influenced by Japan in the 90s.
China is so developed and have very good infrastructure and they really care for women's safety .

(China was not even invited in the bids lol ) it was France, Spain ,Japan , Germany only who was part of the biding for this project !

It took China 40 years of development to reach this. Before the situation in China was quite similar to the situation in India today. You just need honesty, accountability and leadership in the government to achieve this. My observation on the Indian government is that they are more preoccupied with making things look better rather than doing better. The only thing this mentality does it to make you feel better rather than making your life better.

Indian railway is far ahead of China in allowing outdoor passengers.

should see how Canada and America railway are like... Amtrak is still using pen and paper to check passengers.. 3--4 hours delay is very normal.. America has a single `highspeed`rail called Acela Express... around 120--140km/hour, like a normal train in China.. if you wanna try to eat on Amtrak? microwave a burger... no freshly made dishes like in China.
