I wanted to ask what's the deal with this "dictionary" pronunciation such as "ga-vvvva" for Danish "gave" when no one really speaks that way unless they try to sound very "special" ?

Yeah, that’s the way you pronounce it, when you really articulate the words / speak really slowly. But we rarely do that in real life. So I try to inform you on both in the videos.
