Look, you have to overtake when you are going 100km/h (the speed limit) and the people are going around 80-90. And you kinda have to overtake from the wrong side when they're hogging the right lanes going lower than the speed limit. What do you expect me to do?
I am a huge critic of infra of Mumbai. No real infra and just tall buildings. But this, What a huge infra boost to Mumbai. Hope the coastal road project, dense network of metro(forget local now, they are so so outdated and stand no where in front of a metro system) along with the maintenance and widening of internal roads of Mumbai provide a relief.

Lets be honest here, this road is just for the rich. 625 for a day, and 12,500 per month just for the toll is a steep price and only the top few % indians might be able to afford it. This road might look good on the pictures, but its completely useless for the majority of people. Its just spending taxpayer money for providing subsidy to the rich. Also, this road will bring more cars on mumbai's already congested roads. A rail link here would have been a much better solution as it would have the capacity to transport 10x the number of people for a fraction of cost.
@@rishabh798 Yes it actually does. When you have to earn just 25-30k per month to be in top 10% indians, a 5L maruti car owner is richer than quite a lot of indians. Thats why I said that in a country like ours, a rail based connection would've been much more feasable, because it can be used by a mercedes owner, a maruti owner and a cycle owner, and all of them can afford them.

@@AnujN generally rightmost lane is used for overtaking and when you have done the overtaking you have to merge back to middle lane and left most lane is for slow vehicle like truck etc. In India people keep driving at rightmost lane even after overtaking which is very annoying and it is against the lane discipline.

ok so several issue i noticed , i dont know which company designed this road, but man when you merge a lane into 2 lane , the road ahead should be of 3 lane road , keeping it 2 lane is just asking for a traffic. and i saw these kind of thing at several places. road should not be designed that way. also there doesnt seem to be a consistent lane marking on road(need to follow a common road system which runs on whole of india 2 different road at different places should not have different lane marking system simple), people will not notice and get used to it but man talk about mediocrity.
