Great Video. I am a BNSF fan myself and have a switching layout here in the UK. All the best with your future videos, I have subscribed so keep them coming! 👍
On video-and I’m watching this on a very big screen-the simple backdrop worked really well. It didn’t take my attention away, it kept it where I need it to be. I’d stay away from crossings that make noise.
Superb Video , Operations , Great Narration ! I'm A Fan ! Your Playout Reminds Me Of My Playout With One Difference , My Playout Is SP/SSW DRG&W , With A Splash Of AT&SF ( BNSF ) UP /WP / PE & NS ! I Miss It I Had To Dissmantle It For I Had To Move But I Will Rebuild It Soon ! But For Now I Watch Other Guy's Videos Like Yours ! Keep Up The Good Work ! Can't Wait For Your Next Video ! 😎🦊
Your ops sessions are always worth watching over and over, again. And I must say that your Sante Fe Caboose (shoving platform) looks nice. I have an ho Sante Fe caboose too, only different. One question: was the shed of the lumber yard scratch built or was it bought?
@@milepost33Thanks for telling me this. I was trying to figure out how to do my lumber yard on my switching layout and the building you used looked really nice. Truth is, I really like your layout so much that I wanted to incorporate a few elements of it into my switching, and later, the big layout I plan on building.
I am working on a proper diagram for the layout and I’ll get that out soon. I do not use a helix on the layout. It’s a 2 1/2% climb. Works pretty well! Thanks again for the comment!
Its great to see operations and your narration makes it very interesting
Glad you enjoyed and thanks so much for the kind words!

Thanks! Yeah I think the backdrop came out pretty good. Getting the right scale look was the most challenging. Thanks again!

@@milepost33 Check out Shapeways. They have 3D printed masts and heads to fit directly over the Digitrax signal pc boards.

One question: was the shed of the lumber yard scratch built or was it bought?
Thank you! The lumber yard shed is a Walthers kit, although it's not finished yet.

Great layout. I really enjoyed this video. I'm a new sub!
Glad you enjoy the videos!! More to come soon!
Awesome! Thank you!
Great video and layout. What are your layout dimensions?
Thanks for the comments! The layout is approximately 11x15 on 2 decks. Average width of about 18”
Do you have a diagram of your track plan? My layout is roughly the same dimensions without the second level. You didn't do a helix did you?
I am working on a proper diagram for the layout and I’ll get that out soon. I do not use a helix on the layout. It’s a 2 1/2% climb. Works pretty well! Thanks again for the comment!
That would be great. Thanks
