      @@milepost33 I know how you feel; my layout, though much smaller, is not finished either.

    Where did you acquired your acid tank car with the pinkish center strip at the load station?

    • @milepost33
      @milepost33  2 дні тому

      That tank car is an Athearn Genesis that I believe came from Arnie’s Trains in Westminster, CA.

      Thank you very much! I’ve been into model railroading for over 40 years and have been collecting since I was young. I have weathered some of my rolling stock and I typically use weathering chalks and an airbrush.

    How do trains get to your upper level? Helix?

    • @milepost33
      @milepost33  2 дні тому

      No helix but just a straight climb at a 2.5% grade.

    How did you consist your locomotives with different decoders

    • @milepost33
      @milepost33  2 дні тому +1

      As long as the decoder address is properly programmed for each engine it shouldn’t matter the decoder brand. At least in my experience. I have a Digitrax system for DCC.

      @@milepost33 I have Prime Mover functions with auto start with tsunami decoders and F8 for ESU and when I try to start the locomotives in a consist one tries to start and the other shuts down. I know that they are properly programmed but the F8 mute is really annoying for the Tsunami decoders
