I just got an iPad pro and procreate last week! I'm still experimenting, so seeing a way to do lineless art is really cool !

Salty procreate makes it so easy to color in that lifeless art style, the textured brush just make the drawings come to life. Hope your have lots of fun with procreate!
You should download the Procreate manual on the books app, it’s free. And follow their Instagram account, they have some tutorials, and such, on there.

hey! so for drawing on the ipad i highly recommend buying a matte screen protector! makes drawing more comfortable, less smudges and screen is not as reflective. a grip for your apple pencil also make drawing more comfortable!

I totally agree and recommend iCarez. They’re just as good as PaperLike, IMO, and way more affordable.

Yes; I got the iCarez matte screen protector! I've never used the Paperlike screen protector so I don't know how they compare, but the iCarez one is really good imo
I really enjoy it and it does make drawing on a screen easier/more comfortable :)

I used to love art, I'm not fantastic and never allow myself time to experiment because i get annoyed when things go wrong. Im hoping with my iPad pro, ill.be able to practice and get better as its so easy to undo and redo, resize etc. I love watching these videos 😍

7:48 note: To rotate use the green line and green circle. You can place your finger or pencil there and slide, its a lot easier :3

I have an iPad mini 4 but it’s not compatible with Apple Pencil so rip 😔
What I really like about procreate, is when you change the brush size, it shows how big it is going to be, and changes when you are more zoomed in/out and it’s really helpfull
when using the transformation tool you can rotate your selection with the green dot above your selection as well! that way the size of the selection isnt affected

Oooohhh my gosh!!! Yes!! I just treated myself to an iPad Pro and bought Procreate! I’m practicing right now getting used to the brushes and which ones that work well for me and my style Lol!

You can name your stack and artworks by tapping on ‘untitled artwork’ and ‘stack’
Edit : You can also look at your artworks by selecting them ( on the right top corner ) and click on preview

I just got a 7th gen iPad and it’s just as great! Only real difference is that the pro is faster with more storage
To adjust the angle the green dot at the top of the edit square will help💛🌞

I seriously suggest checking out some ProCreate tutorials to familiarize yourself with the program. You’ll learn things like when you drag and drop a color to fill something, you can keep holding down your pencil and slide it left or right to increase or decrease the threshold and keep from having those like blank areas around the edges 🤗

don’t use two fingers to drag something around. it’s going to go crazy and super zoom.
just use one finger or your pencil.

i dont know if procreate has this but there is an option to "alpha lock" a layer so you can color lineart without having to trace it all.

I forgot the brand and the exact name, but there's a certain type of screen protector that's matte, which prevents glare and finger prints. It's supposed to to feel like paper when your drawing
I just order it today hehe!! The first one I ordered was the wrong size Icarez. Hopefully this one will be the correct size.
