You know Morgan, I'm a big Beta fan. Does not bother me one bit that you prefer another brand over it. It's all about personal preference and what works for you. I appreciate you doing the reviews on the bike so we know what to expect.
I'm can only guess at 23:47 your new bib/tire setup might be. I know I'm very excited to be going with the Hulky Boy/Jack The Gripper combo along with the X-Grip bibs. I have a local shop that uses the X-Grips in the hard enduro series and also carries the 4 different compounds of X-Grip bibs.
Zac: Look for metal particles on the igniter coil.
Spark first time, then none sounds like ECU issue to me. Try swapping with known good one to see if that resolves it.
He did. Same same.
I like the idea of magnetic goggles for snow sports but not for dirt biking or mountain biking. The snow is less dangerous but tree branches, rocks, and other natural objects put the fear in me. I like my eyeballs. I like knowing the lens will not pop off.
I run them for 3 years no issues.
I agree these things could fail. You hit your goggle area around the handle bar area in a wreck first, they pop off, and you then hit other things before your crash is complete and something could hit you in the eye area. I don't take any chances at all when it comes to my eyes!
For the algorithm 👍
Had the same thing happen to me with the tusk fan. Killed the battery. Wired an on/off switch to it and problem solved.
have you seen the reflow goggles? those are the real game changer
No. I’ll check them out
@@highlandcycles rflow my keyboard autocorrect screwed me
@@MrJacksmithFTW 😂
Hey buddy, thanks for the information. I checked them out and they seem pretty cool. Have you tried them or anyone you know? What is the great thing about them? Just wondering since I'm always looking for better products, etc.
@@onthethrottle7104 I have a pair and since you can open the lens they never fog and you can breathe better
Hello from Greece. I have The same bike tpi 300 2021 with same problem. I Change my rectifier and The problem was solved. You can try it. Keep good jod and videos (when i was taking off my main relay didnt drain The battery of The bike)
Thanks man. We actually found it and its not at all what we thought. Stay tuned!
With so many bikes now having injection, at what point is it worth you having your own testing rig ? I've seen a variety of devices available to test spray pattern and flow (usually for four cylinder bikes of course) .
I will be getting something soon.
Love the tool org. I'm in Mobile service and my tools Morten than not resemble a yard sale. 🤦♂️😒🤣🤣
I hear that. The widgets are amazing!
Good stuff, I've wanted to check out those Goggles for awhile nobody I know has them. 🤘🤘
Spoiler alert, they are awesome
@highlandcycles right on Morgan I'm glad to hear they're awesome. Sounds like another product. I need to invest some money into thanks to you.
Buy the Oakley Airbrakes the field of view is deceiving on the Havocs. The AB are better in every way!
@@Shelby8371I will have to check them out before I make a purchase. Thank you.
@@Shelby8371 I will have to check them out
Blown break line, man I wish!!!
I bought a pair of the havoc goggles and didn't like them one bit, they are super rigid with no flex at all and didn't fit my face right but that's just me.
Scott prospects are my goggle of choice but goggles are a different fit for every body
Me too, had them and the field of view isn’t what you think by looking at them. Bought some Oakley Airbrakes and never looking back.
Just back to CT from 3 days riding Moab... Major reality depression setting in😐. Since my old body needs a rest, the only cure is to watch dirt bike repair videos 🤣 ...
Dont twist the throttle when starting 4T betas. They dont like that and shut off the injection.
If they wont start wait 2 seconds and hit the button again.
sadly EFI bike cuture and knoledge will still take time... the screwdriver for carb has been replaced by a odb2 dongle and smartphone... And it i super fast to fix anything
The compact rechargeable battery jump start packs work as well to "wake up" the battery. works incase you leave your ignition or headlight on by mistake backcountry.
🤘🤘🤘
Got the same problem with my KTM battery be interesting to know what the problem is
It turns out it was the controller for the Tusk Fan
@@highlandcycles I will have to look elsewhere haven’t got a tusk fan fitted to my bike I will get to the bottom of it Thanks anyway
@@user-oh1vo5kx4b dang. Good luck
The Tusk fan control units are junk. I've gone out to the garage to grab a drink out of the beer fridge and my fan would be running. The fan itself seems ok but ended up going to a trail tech.
time and time again i have seen tusk kill batteries. Just put the fan on a hard wired thermostat or on the headlight circuit.
There should be an easy inline coolant temp relay to turn on the fan circuit.
Been running Boobliss (sacked/cut bib with tubliss) for 5 years its truly the best and cheapest setup, keeps moose cooler as well as tubliss takes most of the hits.
🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘
Seen soft set connections from the factory come loose thousands of miles later
Just a die hard follower here
Awesome!!!
how much are those goggles? $100? come on man
And?? They are actually 80 but so are the top of the line 100% and Oakley and probably scott too!
@@highlandcycles I am just bummed out that stuff is so expensive, do you know if it is American made?
@@dring83 I don’t know. Have you been to the grocery store?? Everything is crazy expensive.
@@highlandcycles true, and now that i think of it i remember Oakley's iridium lens was $80-100 by it's self
@@dring83 yeah. It’s unfortunate. Fly has some solid goggles for 50ish
the ecu on that ktm is fried, I had the exact same symptoms and the ecu was the cause.
We swapped with known good one and nothing
Did you figure out the battery issue on the KTM?
Not yet. Coming soon
👍👍
PRC!!!🤘🏽🤘🏽🤘🏽
🤘🏻😉
Huge fan from Costa Rica
Pura Vida!
@@highlandcycles Do you know of any product for the ktm tbi gas pump extension? As they do not use the entire gas tank volume, design defect, pump sits to high.
@@AriasFelipe300 coming soon
Great Shlog! The Havoc goggles are really good.
