AI stocks will dominate 2024 but not just AI. NVIDIA, Alphabet, Tesla are at a better placed to maintain long term growth potential, and provide a platform for other AI companies. I have made more than 200% ROI from NVIDIA with the help of my stocks advisor. With the help of my advisor I agree that stock Like Twoo would also go higher in the next year and a bit high this year with the announcement of launch of its video game.

This is Interesting because i bought NVIDIA around September last year. The company is selling shovels in a gold rush. It accounted for almost 80% of my market return last year, and I'm sure this year will present other interesting stocks.

I agree, that's the more reason I prefer my day to day investment decisions being guided by an advisor, seeing that their entire skillset is built around going long and short at the same time both employing risk for its asymmetrical upside and laying off risk as a hedge against the inevitable downward turns, coupled with the exclusive information/analysis they have, it's near impossible to not out-perform, been using my advisor for over 2years+ and I've netted over 2.8million.

Im not an apple fan personally, but i love the analysis. The fact they have been using "a.i" without calling it a.i is what they needed to do, just mentioning that on a conference call can make a stock rise for competitors, the fact theyve had working products and have so much stuff they could add to their services portions is a big plus. Your comment section can't get passed the phone sales part when the services segment is going nuts.

One of the best vids so far. Nice job interpreting this Tim Cook interview. Apple feels like one of those companies that always underperforms compared to its intrinsic value. You've mentioned this before. Much of the talking heads always say that Apple is too expensive and is going to come down. The market listens. However, the company is rock solid, innovative, and cash rich. The only way this company will tank is if the government specifically targets them to break them.

Your assumption for why Apple does a dedicated handover to OpenAI relies on the same schema as for the default browser. This assumption is too narrow IMHO. Think beyond USA, and you’ll realize that this move allows Apple to pick a dedicated LLM provider per market, and this makes sure that Apple is compliant to stricter regulations like China. In that market, Apple now can pick Alibaba LLM which is compliant with the local government. Smart move I’d say, as it can help to bump sales back in China.

    • @Winalways-tn3dc

They’re not losing in China bc of reason like that they’re losing in China bc Xiaomi is offering similar level tech at a way cheaper price and along with that the cheaper options are crazy viable still. It’s status symbol marker also kind of going south there and with all things considered does someone need an iPhone to run WeChat? No every phone can have WeChat and with that being the case why spend the premium if its unnecessary. Apple will get a supercycle due to US consumers buying but I doubt the growth comes in China or other global markets they have to kind of pray that India grows rich enough quick enough to become a new market.

@@Winalways-tn3dc Losing market share to local competition is to be expected. Huawei and Oppo do offer very competitive phones with top notch hardware. What I refer to is the fact that they advertise for intelligence, which is majorly sustained by OpenAI. However such solution is banned in China due to lack of compliance to local regulations. If they made their software architecture flexible enough, they can definitely diversify the LLM based on the market. So it would simply allow them to advertise the feature also in this stricter markets like China.

I could be wrong since I'm not an Apple person, but the takeaway seems to be:
    1. Apple says it will use AI in its OS in ways that are pragmatic and helpful... but we still don't know what that is going to be. How much should the share price increase based on this exciting, yet nebulous, news?
    2. Apple's coupling of AI in its ecosystem is a brilliant tactic because user privacy concerns will prevail in antitrust actions designed to open it up for competition... But none of that matters because Apple will embed the option to allow users to select their AI provider/model of choice. This is so NOT unlike Google, where the system requires users to grant permission to allow their apps of choice to access their data.
    3. By opening up its ecosystem to third party AI model providers, there is the multi-billion dollar "default" position up for grabs. Apple's profits will soar.
Bottom line: Apple will be more like Android, and whatever AI brings, it will be useful. Apple will continue to do well.

Googles browser is good for list results, which are more suitable for consumers. “Sushi restaurants near me”, the consumer wants to quickly compact prices, reviews, etc…they don’t need a prose paragraph response.
With that in mind, the “sushi restaurants” of the world, will continue to pay google to be spotlit in those results, and how google will continue to afford to pay for that default browser. Not sure how the company that pays to be default LLM will be able to monetize it as easily

Not to sure how LLM paying for the default spot will work. It already costs these companies a ton of money to run queries daily. I don’t know if a company being a default will bring them revenue. I guess at the right price and potential upside, it’ll make sense.

Going with Open AI is a big mistake on the part of Apple. Open AI may need to monetize privacy data or charge a subscription and Apple may have to pay if they are sucked into a fear of missing out on the LLM technology. It will be better if they stick with Gemini and Google despite the antitrust lawsuit. There is better integration between Google as default search browser and Gemini as an add-on widget and privacy will definitely be assured as Google does not need to charge even a subscription for its usage. They can afford to divert traffic to search for users to follow up. They could prove that working even more closely with Google allows better user experiences on their platforms and that focusing purely on competitive markets should never be the end goal. This will definitely turn the antitrust lawsuit on its head. I forsee that LLMs will be a new kind of search. But, having hyperlinks on a search rank page to get alternative views and ideas will still supersede LLM. So, I think even if Google misses out on the LLM partnership with Apple, Google will still thrive.

Maybe Alibaba in China without we much strict labor law, but even then It's alot of robots but nothing like you're implying . Even if we can take into account robots work and are making cars the market is slowing down and that is future projections. GM today just lowered their projection, Ford as well, with many more to follow. All the machines will be making cars for no one to buy. Honestly, the only AI that has ever really impressed me are Google search results, and that was the case many years before anyone ever presented generative AI to the public.
For a long time now, we've been able to type in a question into Google in plain language, and it always knows what you're looking for and serves up the best, most relevant results. Even if I can't think of the name of a famous personality, I can describe what he looks like, and Google will know what I mean.
Generative AI looks like overconfident, incompetent regurgitation of Google search type results presented with extreme confidence to distract from the fact that the information is flawed. Detection of afib in an apple watch is not impressive AI at all. I feel like I could write a code for that in a day. I probably couldn't, but it's so much more solvable than general intelligence.
I still think if true superhuman general intelligence-level AI is possible, it'll be Google that develops it and takes over the world with it.
That's why I bought shares in 2007 and still hold it to this day.

I've never owned an apple product--to me it's way overpriced and dumbed down. But I'd never think of shorting a share.
