It would have been much more satisfying watching you do the actual tracking than talk about it.

"Hook up the lead to both side of the fuse when you take out the fuse." I have never figured out how to hook up the alligator clips. Please at least do a video of the hooking up of the receiver.

Thats a good testimonial about the practical functionality of this tool because nobody can appreciate the frustration of looking for a wiring problem til you got one😅😅😅

Harbor freight `s tools are very affordable . They all works. I recommend it to all beginners to start with. I m now retired . I still have harbor freight tools with me from the beginning of my career . Now the harbor freight `s tools are getting more and more professional grade tools. I still recommend the Pittsburgh tools to start with and see how you all like it. Harbor freight used to be generous gave out 30% off coupons and some simple tools free with purchase. Even those are gone, harbor freight tools always a life saver for the beginners.

Kathy Lewis what ever the issue is with your wiring, whether it’s tail lights, headlights, turn signals, etc. whatever your issue is, that’s the fuse( in your fuse box ) that you need to remove. Then clip the alligator clips from the tracker to opposing sides of where the fuse goes. Then turn it on and point to the wires that come out of the fuse panel. Follow the wires slowly until the beeping gets quieter, then you know you have followed the wrong wire, or you have found your break.

@@CITYOFANGELES1343 you pull the fuse out for the circuit your checking then you get a piece of wire, paper clip anything to stick in the holes the fuse came out of and you put the test leads (black and red) from the tester clip them onto the paper clip red on one and black on the other. Hope this helps.

If you can READ, then you can follow instructions on how to use this tool. This video is not a how too. It’s a review. Literally a 3rd grader can read these instructions and know how to use it. Before you leave a comment of how I should talk less and show more, try understanding that I didn’t make this video for you to understand how to use this simple, simple tool. It’s a review of this tool, and my thoughts on it.
