what is the difference of a pas de bourse with the cpu-de-pie and without? when I was younger, I learned pas de bouree without cou-de-pie and now that I am taking classes at a Russian school, it is always with a cou-de-pie

The difference between a pas de bourrée with the cou-de-pied and without is in the placement of the working foot before each step.

A pas de bourrée is a ballet step that involves three quick steps, typically done in a sideways or diagonal direction. The steps can be done in various combinations and can be used to transition between other steps.
When a pas de bourrée is done with the cou-de-pied (also spelled "coupé") position, the working foot is placed at the ankle of the supporting leg before each step. This means that the working foot is lifted to the ankle and then quickly moved to the side or back before being placed back at the ankle again. This gives the step a more precise and controlled quality.
When a pas de bourrée is done without the cou-de-pied position, the working foot is lifted off the ground and moved to the side or back before being placed on the ground again. This gives the step a more fluid and continuous quality.
