I dare say that no other Ppop group would dare to touch this song when these ladies have set the bar too high to reach. In any version they have sung this song they are all awesome and only these ladies have the vocals and harmonies to bring tears to your eyes. Great reaction Mark and thanks for your comments and insight.
Thanks for the reaction Mark! Some great performances here: Almira stands out as usual, and there are some notes that Mylene hits that are perfect, but the harmonies are the show stealer. Always a treat to watch them with a live band.
Hello. Thanks Mark for reacting to 4th Impact. A wonderful concert performance. His voices are amazing and his harmonies are awesome. I love them. He keeps reacting to 4th Impact. Thank you!
Mark thanks for the great reaction! The part in the song you asked about was sung in Italian. Which is actually the original language of this song (La Preghiera) sung by Andrea Bocelli.
Kamusta po, Sir Mark. This song always gives me chills, it is one of the prettiest songs I have ever heard and everytime these laides sing it makes it that much lovelier. There are two times these ladies sang this song that had me weeping uncontrollably, first was a very heartfelt version at their Grandpa on their papa Dom's side passed away, they were coffinside with papa Dom singing this and the second was during a live stream and they sang this for my sister Susan, a few days after she passed away. But it doesn't matter the setting, whenever this song is done by these lovely ladies, it will make tears come to many people. Maraming salamat Mark.
The reason why the ladies were so uncharacteristically serious here was because this happened right after Typhoon Ulysses devastated the Philippines in 2020. The Cercados were fortunate in just losing electricity that night, though that meant they couldn't charge their phones and the AC didn't work. Almira told me that everyone slept on top of each other, with her at the bottom to conserve heat and she was able to get out just enough messages that I was able to inform their kapabayans that they were safe. In the morning, they were called by Wowoin to be a last minute stand in for the planned artists who I guess were unable to get there. But then they found they hd no running water, so they said that they used all of the bottles of sparkling water they had on hand to shower. I am not sure if that causes the beads of moisture we see on them, or the GMA A/C was not operative. So they sang this song and Bridge Over Troubled Water with absolutely no prep and just "throwing on clothes"! Thanks so much again for providing translation! That other language is Italian, which this piece is composed in. They have sang this in livestreams in a combination of that language and English, and also impromptu in a church in the UK (Nottingham) in December 2015.
Wow!
Thanks for this reaction Mark. Love their emotions when they sing this song.
Thanks very much for bringing this memorable video to Mark's attention! He's done so many (>250), that it's hard to keep track of what he has done.
😃😃😃😃

Definitely! Having a live band/orchestra really brings more depth/drama :)

Salamat steven for sharing this 🥲
Thank you. I appreciate the interpretation. I believe the third language is Italian.
