Having flown in from the Philippines, girl band 4th Power were living their dream - auditioning for Simon on the X factor UK in 2015. 8 years have passed since they went viral on UA-cam with the @thexfactor Jessie J audition which gained over 187 million views but the question remains. Where are they now and why have they changed their name so many times?

My favorite of the four is Mylene but I truly love all four. Mylene is their arranger which results in their huge and awesome harmony of sound. She also is an awesome soloist. Almira is probably the most technically strong talent and belts out their uber high notes. Irene is their best dancer IMHO while Selena is their top rapper and Disney might as well sign her! She loves show too s from Disney and SLAYS when she performs them, obviously loving it as she performs! I consider myself a live long “Dreamer” or top fan of these awesome talented women! I hope they kick A- in America! You will LOVE them! ❤❤❤❤
Bring them back! I can't believe that they didn't get major international promoters begging at their door. This is a huge missed opportunity in the music world. Simon, if you're reading this, for God's sake do something about this, please!

I believe they are currently in LA where they've recently recorded some cool videos (they have a very active UA-cam channel). They also just received visas to allow them to perform in USA and they are about to announce a USA tour. I love their close harmonies and I've watched them on UA-cam for years so hope to see them live when they tour USA. I also spend significant time in The Philippines (but more Cebu than Manila) and hear surprisingly little about them there.
would love love to see them do a gig in the UK....they are very much missed not for their singing talent alone but for their giving pleasure and inspiration to all.

I'm big fan of 4th impact from the US they was vote girl group of the year in the Philippines in 2022 Almira was voted best lead vocalist of the year and Celina was voted best lead rapper of the year. They have have fans around the world.the won the world championship in performing arts in Hollywood California has teenager.

First time viewer of your channel and fan (called dreamers) from Ecuador. I've been hooked on these girls since X factor days. They are IMO the hardest working girls in music today. They've managed to put together their own music and dance studio from which they supported themselves during the covid lockdowns doing weekend livestreams. They did so well that they were able to buy a huge house in Manila for themselves and their family. They recently signed with ShowBT and are the sister group to SB19 in 2022 and released 2 new original songs and have been doing many live appearances in the Philippines and in Korea. They continue to produce their own videos and covers and still do their weekend livestreams. Big thanks for updating us - they still are under rated and deserve so much more recognition.
Hey Patrick, Thank you for sharing your insights! Appreciate you watching and commenting. The X Factor were the first time a lot of people here in the UK had heard of them. It's strange because even though around here a lot of people who were popular on the X Factor are still highly rated and very much in the media, non of them had a more memorable time on X factor then these 4 girls. So great to see they are still out there doing what they want to do and doing it well. Girl groups like this who start of young and are all related usually end up splitting up. Its a testament to who they are that they have stayed strongly together. You have to respect that 😄
@@notsocluelessTV Those girls will never split up. To Filipino's family is everything. It's as important to them as life itself. My childhood friend has been married to a Filipina 20 years and says jokingly his wife loves her family more than him. That's the Filipino way, family is first and foremost. As the old saying goes "Blood is Thicker Than Water". Those girls are bound together to each other like a baby is bound to their mother in the womb by the umbilical cord.

@@notsocluelessTV Unfortunately it's the new American past time. Some unfortunate adult male who is frustrated with life and still living at home with mom and dad. Since many American girls even the far less attractive ones are only interested in the top 20% of best looking and successful guys he's probably not even getting any sex. So all that pent-up frustration has to go somewhere. It looks like being an internet troll gets that need satisfied. I'm sure it's not only frustrated young males, but I bet a fair size portion fit that profile.

As of late April/May of ‘23 4th Impact has traveled to LA California to try and break the ice in the USA market! They have put out a couple of new UA-cam covers which ar fantastic. The hold up now is waiting for their work Visas. They traveled to Vegas to see Bruno Mars and Kate Perry in concerts. Now back to LA to continue Cover Videos and to prepare to hit the gigs running as soon as Visa approved! Besides being uber talented and beautiful they are VERY hard working! I really hope they hit it huge here in America!!!!!

They just announced on their Facebook page that they will be guest judges on DragRace Philippines Season 2 which premieres on August 2, 2023. So they are keeping active in Philippines while they are currently in Los Angeles.

I'm a huge fan from France of these 4 Beautiful Angels and they deserve a global recognition. I would like each fans in each country, all over the World has the possibility to mobilise and invite them perform on stage, in their respective country. It's a dream but I know thanks to the testimony of 4th Impact, dreams really do come true, so "Here We Go..."
Well when I was researching for this video I did find that they have strong fan communities in a lot of different countries, so they really could do it! Also, not sure if you follow them on youtube @4THIMPACTMUSIC but they vlog quite a bit so its a great place to see if what they're up to 😃

its so interesting cause they were having a hard time in the beginning of their career in philippines people didn't really take pop and girl groups seriously back then. It took them having to travel all around the world to end up coming back to philippines and find their career back in their home land. I hope they keep growing cause they have a really cool sound and story.
It's inspiring that they have been at it for so long. They must really have a passion for what they do, especially to make it through the earlier days when things weren't really taking off!
@@notsocluelessTV I'm not 100% sure if this is correct but from what I've seen in their interviews they were one of the main bread winners in their family from preforming and singing at small gigs and it started out as a necessity to make money. But I can't imagine how much anxiety it might create working small gigs just hoping to make it big somewhere or just have a consistent income. lol I remember when 4th impact found of they were gonna be on the xfactor tour they were just excited to have a job after the show. lol they were so sweet

After workingmaking I believe 4 original then things turned bad again, 3 songs were tabled and 1 releases but not under their name. That when they went home where they and us dreamers don’t talk about it. More bad news awaited them 1 fire burnt their maternal relations compound to the grown, 2typhone hit paternal family 3 brain tumor that need medical attention close family, the strict lock down, 5 covid feb 2021 where their family had no money for medical help but a dreamer or two gave them support or their mother would have died. The only one without covid was their brother. But since that time everything been on the ups and ups
Its quite the story. What amazes me about that x factor tour is that the survey the producers did afterwards shown that 4th impact was the crowd favourite amongst everyone on the tour. Amazing, isnt it?

Before they were always rejected & told that they don't have star quality. They almost gave up but they are now more determined to fight. Gollayan Family mentor's introduction "their talent were mocked, no privilege in life, but they pour their heart & might to show their good in singing & dancing. All judges gave perfect 10 scores. Hosts of that show also help out in raising funds for the renamed Gollayan Sisters (Senior Division) to have pocket money & be able to participate in 2013 WCOPA in Hollywood, California USA.
I still find it crazy that they were rejected by The X Factor Philippines given what we know now and the fact there UK audition was the most streamed online 😂

They sign contract under SHOWBT PHILIPPINES, a korean company base in the ph. Home grown talent like famous boy group SB19 and Girl group KAIA .
They are very grateful to showBT because for the very long time there is a company who believe of their talent and hard work . that is why their first sing song called HERE WE GO release under their company. They are very proud because they wrote the lyrics song here we go.

I live in the Philippines, and you are right, we had the harshest Covid quarantine restrictions anywhere in the world. The girls are quite popular but they, and their success, have a generated a lot of jealousy among Filipinas. I thought they were great but my wife, for example, was wholly dismissive of them, stating that they weren't 'that good'. I didn't argue as I simply wanted a quiet life.

The World Champions of Performing Arts, where they won Grand Champions in both the Junior and Senior division was held on both occasions in Hollywood California!!
The name change from 4th Power to 4th Impact occurred between their audition and the live shows.
The majority of their fan base is located in countries other than the Philippines, mostly western countries. They have never recieved the recognition in their home country. That has just started to change recently with their signing of ShowBT as a management company and Sony Music Entertainment as a record label.
They were recognized as the 2022 Philippines Pop female group of the year. Almira, and Celina of 4th Impact were recognized as 2022 P-POP female main vocalist and rapper of the year respectively. They released two original songs that they wrote themselves since signing. The first, Here we go, a fast paced fashion, dance and vocal showcase!! And the second, Tapat Sa'yo, a ballad is one of the most beautiful, heartbreaking songs I have ever heard.

We have discussions on new reactors like you to determine how we think our ladies would think of you. I belong two about 5 of these channels there is probably about 10 dreamers worldwide is about 18,000 strong and has 4 or more monitors and seems one of our monitors really likes the amount of work you did in behalf of our ladies. They released their debut US single "Distorted" and they are starting their tour of the US Nov. 17 Oxnard, Ca and Nov 19 Montclair, Ca. They are based in LA now permanently, I think. A 5 song EP will drop soon. In America we now have a world class Girl Group.

I have lived in Philippines for a couple years now, and while i loved them uears ago, havnt heard a thing about them since i came here.
They need to go to either BGT OR AGT. ( Britton Got Talent or America's Got Talent)
With all the set backs with the island has made with the damages from the different Hurricanes that have hit the islands.
What I would like to have is a cd of all of their x factor songs; I did contact the x factor about this but it got lost in x factor red tape

One should just know that right after the X Factor UK 2015 ejection 4th Impact was in demand to perform some shows in and around London, of which they did, of course.
They now have 130 puppies and traveling so until they had to take a break. I just can't wait for them to come to Texas. They are still as good, but now Almira is 40yrs old. They are also doing Livestream still and have their own individual Vlogs. UA-cam, Tik Tok, Instagram etc.

I LOVE THIS GROUP AND WOULD LIKE TO SEE THEM BECOME MORE GOLBAL . LIKE THEIR ENERGY .
We all do. But no one will give them a chance wahy not !! They can make money and fame
i followed them during their x-factor UK days. and even as earlier as that time, they actually have a cold reception in the UK compared to other contestants outside of the show. their x-factor songs in each show did not translate to sales or clout on spotify/itunes compared to other british contestants. they consistently have low spotify UK "views" despite them having the highest views on youtube.
I haven't seen them in any Philippine media mainstream or performing in a variety shows. I think they are only active on UA-cam.
To be honest, they didn’t make it BIG in the Philippines after the Xfactor. They’re super struggling with their career, but last month they’ve had their first debut US solo and eventually on tour in the US, I hope they’ll make it big this time

I agree. I have lived in the Philippines off and on for years. One thing I noticed is that when some, not all, but some Filipinas come to US, they forget (or did not even know in the first place ) why foreign men are so attracted to them. Loving their friendly ways, constant smiles, natural looks, long shining hair, then some color their hair to some funky color (like one of these girls did ), get tattoos, even wear contacts to change their pretty dark eyes and then dress in jeans with tears in them and tight see through tops. Dressing just like the women many of the men were attracted to them for looking different from. They just don't seem to get it. I used to laugh at some of the OFW's returning from Japan as I'd wait on the flight to Manila. Some of the female OFW's going home all gussied up, hoping to impress everyone back home, Filipinos call them Christmas trees lol

For years I thought Almira was the youngest and she is actually the oldest lol.
