I find it funny how 3 is clearly having a moral dilemma about if what she's doing is right or wrong, when in reality the salmonids don't care about being eaten. In their culture, being eaten is seen as a great honor, which is why they use cookware as their weapons. Their lives revolve around an eat and be eaten mentality, which is why even little buddy has no issue with consuming the eggs of his own kind.
I personally call this agent 3, Neo. Reason being. The Captain is the original agent 3 from the first splatoon game and the Octo expansion DLC of the second game. Kinda hard to differentiate between the two if you don't, especially if they're in the same room.
I love that this whole thing builds up to just the big question of "...is this right?" When it comes to salmon runs. Like the way she drew the connection between little buddy and the smallfrys, had nightmares from doing salmon runs so much, and felt sick realizing she was eating salmon in her lunch-- it all ties together so well.
Yeah... and that part when she was leaving the home and leaving Buddy behind - I think that was either to try and catch him to bring him with her... or just to see how he'd react to her leaving, and if he'd follow her or ignore her.
Salmon run is technically a mix of right and wrong. It is a shady company that does HIGHLY illegal stuff because Inklings and Octolings aren't event allowed to interact with Salmonids. They steal their eggs, which I can only assume are their kids, but on the other hand in Salmonid culture its considered an honor to die fighting and be served in delicious meals. Thats why Grillers are modeled after grills, and the lessers use Spoons and frying pans to attack. Lil buddy is an odd one cuz he ended up separated from his Salmon Run (during a Big Run I believe) and Neo 3 finds them and takes care of them. so Lil Buddy probably isn't even aware of his culture and is treated like a friend and companion with Inklings and Octolings. Its very odd...I can imagine that Neo doesn't like harming salmonids because of Lil Buddy but at the same time doesn't mind because they're very different and hostile.
I think Kojake can eat whatever and not feel sick lol. Also many animals don't realize cannibalism. My childhood friend would feed leftover chicken to her hens and they would gladly eat it.

That was my idea before splatoon 3 was even announced. Why not make splatoon an open city game where you have you’re own apartment and when you walk up to other apartment doors in an apartment complex, you see other active online players and their status, basically the locker system but with apartments. But nooo, because that’s apparently asking too much
I hope the extra juice from the switch 2 lets them do this with 4. Splatoon is big about keeping FPS up since its a shooter, but it definitely limits what they can do

This was amazing! The idea that Neo 3 was a former Grizz Co. employee before meeting Little Buddy wasn't something I expected! You also captured the chaos of Salmon Run very well! Great story too!

Think it's because it had Salmon, and since she has Little Buddy who's a Salmonoid, it would be like eating your own pet. The rest of her crew didn't mind probably because they saw the Salmonoids as nothing but a pest that tasted good.

Something I especially appreciate from your work is world building. Even though the primary focus isn’t exactly on the background or location of the set, that doesn’t mean there aren’t important aspects of the world by a long shot: apartment/living spaces, the rooftop, a town square, a job site, they’re all UTILIZED because they ARE everyday life for these characters
From the dynamic angles to the detailed textures, not a single detail was missed out on and every second was enjoyable, thank you for blessing this world with your stunning animations ❤

This is one of the best fan 3d animations I've honestly ever seen, everything, the set design in their room, to the accuracy with the game mechanics (the creative shots also need their own shoutout)! The fact that you are one person, and sound and lighting!! This alone makes me want to try and pick up where I left off on learning blender, I never really tried making anything on there yet, just tutorials, but this is a great inspiration to try and start.
At 0:06 I love how they’re trying to do their job, but they can’t bring themselves to hurt the Small Fry. NEO 3 has one as a pet. How can she bring herself to hurt something that she loves?

あとこれ見て思った事を書いてみました
イカガールはケイジのコジャケと自分が暮らすには食料とそれを買うお金が必要
だから心の中で「ごめんね」と謝りながらバイトへ出勤する
けれどシャケ（特にコジャケ）が飼ってるケイジのコジャケに見えてしまいバイトへの意欲を出せないでいた
バイト終わりに同僚から鮭丼を出されるも食べれず気持ちが晴れない中家へ帰宅する
眠りについても毎朝毎朝あのような悪夢を見てうなされ起きてしまう…

前回から約1年近く更新が無かったと思ったら、こんなにもクオリティの高いスプラアニメを作ってたんですね。
しかもこのアニメ見終わった後に最初のサーモンランのアニメ見たら、この動画のクオリティがもの凄く上がってるのがよく分かりますよ。いやぁ〜お疲れ様でした。

This is one of the best fan 3d animations I've honestly ever seen, everything, the set design in their room, to the accuracy with the game mechanics (the creative shots also need their own shoutout)! The fact that you are one person, and sound and lighting!! This alone makes me want to try and pick up where I left off on learning blender, I never really tried making anything on there yet, just tutorials, but this is a great inspiration to try and start.
