I have just discovered this guy, and he’s amazing.
He was basically the 'It' boy of 80s and 90s British musical theatre. He had boyish good looks, charisma and a show stopping voice. He starred in everything from Les Mis (he was the first British Marius), Aspects of Love, Phantom Of The Opera, Chess (he originated the lead role both in London and Broadway), Sweeney Todd, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang and Hairspray. He also has 4 UK no.1 albums, and the song 'Love Changes Everything', from Chess, made him a household name.

"Well, I'm a writer" - that sweet, cheeky expression on his face... totally adorable! I fell in love with him. He sings this song perfectly in my opinion but the orchestra behind him is way too loud.

The excessive emphasis on the word "Boulevard" is absolutely exaggerated and not very beautiful.
His pronunciation of boulevard is too distracting, should be bull-leh-vard, not boo-lee-vard. It makes the whole song sound weird.
