- Vintage 80's Club footage circa 1986 . The original footage was shot and filmed from the Stratus Dance Club by Isabella Ibarra at the Southeast Career Technical Academy.

Note that this video is compiled of clips from the Stratus nightclub and there were many different songs playing, which explains why the people are dancing at different tempos and speeds from each other and the backing song that was added. Also, some people were just being goofy because in the 80s, people were not used to being filmed and became self conscious easily. Despite this, it was an incredibly fun time to grow up and experience.

@@davidgeerling9871 Bro, girls will always be beautiful. Thig about 80s is that expressing yourself trough looks was like breathing. So there is no way you are entering a dancefloor in the 80s and not finding somebody who are you deeply attracted to, cause at least 1 girl will express herself in a way that it speaks to you.
So for sure we can say girls were the prettiest then, as they were the least prettiest cause of the expressing that is oposite of you.
There was a brief period between 2015 till covid when it happened again, so i would say contemporary time is biggest contender next to 80s.
Everything else (90s,60s,70s) is subjective, everybody look the same so if you are not into it then its not for you and you cant say generaly they were the most beautiful...To me it will always be 60s but i understand how subjective that is :D i just have a thing for summer dress and girl headbands and innocence

Beautiful people during a beautiful time! This was my time also in the 80"s. They were a little older than me, I was 12 in 1987. The girl on the title cover is absolutely gorgeous! She probably has grandkids now but still remembering them days! I know I do!
Im 14, and I wish I lived through out this era, its not weird, people here are having their best times of their life, they arent working for cameras, they are being themselfs. Now, if you arent following the same steps as everyone else, you are a joke, which is absurd to think about. I would much prefer this era, its so colourful and term "having fun" still exsisted. I'd much rather dance to the grooviest music with the hair I like and with the clothes I like, instead of raging at computer games. Our era is weird and cringe, not the 80s, i dont even know what we are doing, everything is so lame now.

I did lots of drugs in the 80s, every nightclub was full of ecstasy, half the people in this video is on ecstasy, evidently you're not from the 80s.
@@nelms78 I am actually from the 80’s ...I was 16-25 then so it was my hey day....and I was in a band....and I was surrounded by people who did drugs around me....I’m proud that I was strong enough not to have been tempted by that crap......and yes there were drugs I know, but outside of me being in the band, it certainly wasn’t as prevalent as it is today.....a few of my friends in the band and surrounding bands got hooked and ruined their health and lives....but NONE of my friends did outside of the band....
And I don’t see the evidence that half of these people being on drugs, just because they are dressed over the top and are having a good time....we used to go out every Friday and Saturday night looking like this and dancing weird and OTT but we weren’t on drugs.....

Actually 62...simple the best times...you could leave your drink anywhere without any fear...other than someone drinking it because they didn't want to spend $2 on a drink...lol
The ages for this club were 16 to 21 so ages from 52 to 57 aprox. considering calculation in 1987.
This was my life in the 80”s!!! The fashion, dancing, freedom, brown weed, a quart of malt liquor bull, fuck yeah!!!!!! Best time ever.

back in the 80-ties I idolized the 60-ties. 80-ties was great but I still like the 60-ties with band like the Doors. I guess what matters is that you are young and full of energy although i think we are in scary times these days

It was...this Is from an under 21 Club in Southern California mamed Stratus around 1986-87 and ok certain days they had something called Sanctuary Nights which catered mostly to New Waves , Goths, etc. Other Nights they had other crowds. It was mixed Whites, Hispanics, Asians, Blacks, gays etc
Ifvyou look on youtube, there is short videos of same, it appears actual songs they are dancing to..

It was. These same teens/dancers are in other videos. One i highly recommend is Giorgio Moroder - The Chase - teddy McLane remix. Incredible! Sadly some people commenting on that video on UA-cam were making fun of them dancing saying they weren't in rhythm. They obviously didn't know they were dancing to something else. Anyhoo i highly recommend the remix of Giorgio Moroder's classic The Chase from the 70's movie Midnight Express. I usually don't like too many remixes but that one is great.

Club Stratus, San Diego area, Southern California. They would have listened to 91X, and the 80’s era Block Party weekend. My estimate is 1986 or 1987.
