- This unboxing blew my mind, the generosity of my contributers is always outstanding and I am constantly amazed of the variety of items sent from people that only know me through the window of youtube. Once again this was no exception! I actually became quite emotional during this video as I was overwhelmed by the generosity of one particular person. I thank you, one and all, for your continual support and assistance in the production of my makeover videos and hope that you will remain with me throughout this incredible journey of discovery!

Marty, My wife died from Ovarian Cancer not long ago.. She really enjoyed watching your videos. I am a model builder and have a few MATCHBOX trucks. She encouraged me fix mine up just like you do. ERF = E R Foden. Green coach is Duple Vega coachwork, used to go to school in one. Cotter pins in US, split pins in UK (Cotter pins hold the cranks on your bike). Emotion universal.
they are also known as "clevis pins"
They are used on Castle nuts to prevent them from loosening.
@@AnthonyTaylor-bp6jv To me a clevis pin is the pivot point in a linkage - such as mechanical brakes - and is retained by a split pin. But these things are known by different names in different countries and sometimes can vary within a country which can lead to confusion.

That guy that sent all the gear is obviously a big fan. How wonderful. Also would be great to have all the right gear in those horses even if it's not authentic. My hubby has several early maxbox cars including a series1 and they need restoration but they are all there. He's so excited every time I watch one of your videos and peers over my shoulder giving you encouragment. 😂

Well, while you were going through the stuff in the first box, with all the supplies, I knew you weren't going to get any of the magnetic clamps...you already have them all!!!
I only ever saw that car transporter in yellow, mine was. Bury is in the North West of England. Around Bolton I think.
The yellow one was a later version. The truck started out in the Major Pack series as M-8 in the turquoise and orange, (although there is a handful of all turquoise ones that are known to exist). The Major Packs were phased out and The truck was moved to King Size series. Later it was changed to all yellow. There are some hybrids that have turquoise cabs and yellow trailer.
Aww, this made me tear up too. It's Christmas for Marty!

I was thinking that maybe you could paint the military vehicles your own camoufflage pattern. It would add a wee bit of variety instead of having 'em all in od green. I'm curious to see what you can come up with, sure it would be great.

What part of Aussieland are you in? I used to have a friend in Canberra, but she moved to the gold coast and I lost touch. I used to love it when she'd send me Tim Tams. Can't go the Vegamite.
Most Americans think Aussieland is kinda small, since the whole country is an island, but except for Alaska, it's about the same size as the USA. I did a lot of research on Aussieland for my second book, Royal Pane Down Under. It's set mostly in Aussieland, the Northern Territory for the most part.

It’s quite humbling to see your reactions and your genuine excitement. I enjoy your humour and whit and hopefully I can amuse you with a bit of U.K. truck history. In the beginning hear in the U.K. we had automotive overdose anyone with a lathe and milling machine could make a vehicle. So we had A E C (Associated Equipment Company) they made horse drawn omnibuses, Scammell (coach builders) Foden (traction engine and agricultural builders) E R F Edwin Richard Foden son of Edwin Foden ( Foden trucks) fell out with daddy and went on to make diesel trucks of his own . Bedford trucks Vauxhall’s military vehicle brand name and of course Ford . In the end all apart from Ford went belly up Vauxhall became GM sold Bedford to India (Isuzo) well sort of most the rest became British Leyland then Leyland then Leyland DAF then DAF god only knows what they are now

Looks like the Cooper Jarrett blue trailer is a custom paint job and decal on the trailer. According to one database, the trailers were only released in gray. Here is the BAMCA link to the variations of the Hendrickson Interstate Double Freighter M-9. < www.bamca.org/cgi-bin/vars.cgi?lrg=1&mod=M09a >. Did a lot of searching and never found a blue trailer or that decal anywhere online. Also, the silver paint scheme on the cab front grill is different from production version, the blue looks to be a lighter shade and the horns were originally brass colored, not silver.

Another gem from, Marty, the support from the viewers shows there are people hell bent on keeping the channel going. I imagine every youtuber will say they have the support of their spouse and family, but this is the only channel I've actually seen it. Julie didn't have to help with the map, we've all heard her voice ask a question in a few videos, she helped big time in the electroplating gag, and Marty, correct me if i'm wrong, but I've seen female hands in rubber gloves washing paint stripper off models. Please Please Please keep up the entertaining videos, I know I'm not alone in wishing that.
