- If you have recently been or are recently going onboard the P&O Cruises, P&O Iona, or the P&O Ariva, then you may be aware of the new entertainment experience, Schhh by Nicole Sherzinger.
Apart from a few official promotional videos from P&O, there isn't a huge amount of information about Schhh by Nicole Scherzinger, and in the P&O Horizon publication, the Schhh by Nicole Scherzinger is advertised as, Schhh The Biggest Nightclub Experience At Sea - Can You Keep A Secret? On the P&O website, it quotes, "Schhh is a multisensory experience unlike anything you've seen on a P&O Cruises holiday"
Well, we're not very good at keeping secrets, and we want to share with you exactly what the Schhh by Nicole Scherzinger Experience is onboard the P&O Cruises P&O Iona and P&O Ariva actually is and what you can expect in our full and honest review.
Like many people, we were very excited to see this Schhh by Nicole Scherzing when we were on a recent P&O Iona holiday, but we had no idea if it was actually taking place the week we were onboard the Iona, there was also very little talk or information about it on the ship itself.
The Schhh by Nicole Scherzinger Experience takes place in the P&O Iona Skydome.
The Skydome on the P&O Iona by day is the venue of the indoor pool, many bars and many food outlets, such as Taste 360 (for more information about this venue and the P&O Iona, be sure to check out our other P&O Iona vlogs). By night, the Skydome turns into a great performance space onboard the P&O Iona, and hosts fantastic aerial shows, such as, Rise, Spark and Triboo. It also hosts guest artists such as Charley Blue, who was excellent when we were on the P&O Iona.
So what is Schhh by Nicole Scherzinger? Is it a show? What does, 'Experience At Sea' actually mean?
Without giving it all away here, you should watch this vlog as we reveal the Greatest Secret At Sea and explain exactly what the P&O Iona Schhh by Nicole Scherzinger actually is and what we thought of it in our review.

Postcard & A Pint was thought up by my partner, Rachel & myself, Wills one day while taking our daily 1 hour exercise during the lockdown of 2020. Caught up with this on our return from jols at the weekend. What a fun vlog, helped us banish the post holiday blues! The Ssh show certainly looked like quite the experience! Let's hope it does improve as the show goes on and more people know what to do. They need to take more direction from you Rach, you and Wills could be on hand to "oversea" production, while enjoying a free cruise, take note P & O! Spot on that us brits need to be told what to do 😂👌. Your faces drinking that cocktail were priceless, it sounded absolutely vile, well done for soldiering on Wills, salty rim and all 😂😂🙈. No better way to kick start our week and bank holiday Monday than you two on the big screen! Firstly we love the thumbnail! I ((Jill)) love Nicole so was super excited to see what this was all about and even though I remember you touching on it slightly and Rach’s cocktail face you reviewed this perfectly, what a huge let down hopefully with it being knew they are still finding their feet with it! It definitely needed a DJ or compare if some description! Thought the secret might have been Nicole herself coming on!! On paper that cocktail sounds lovely with 2 of my favourites tequila and chilli but your faces say it all! Love how Wills kept going back to it! The cocktail would have been better with magic spices 😁😁 Sounds like it really needed a DJ/Hype man to get the crowd going and keep them going. Props to will for struggling through the cocktail. Great honest review, sounds like a rough start for the show. Hopefully they're learning from feedback like this.

Patent that cocktail recipe Rach! They drink it in the Congo ! Schh auto corrects to “achy” on the iPhone and that cocktail would make your belly achy for sure. Looks a damp squib and you have to feel for the performers.. all that practice! Maybe we’ll take our bucket hats !

Lovely to hear a totally honest review from your experience. Maybe the cocktails were meant to make the brain numb???? Yuk, salty rim. Not my taste either. Rachel, I felt really sad for you with the drink...😱! Having seen the other videos, I know the trip wasn't all bad but from memory wasn't this your most expensive night out? Anyway, great bits and bobs peppered throughout the review. Wonder why the title was Shhhhhh? Good story. Have a great Bank Holiday day off. 👌🙋♀🥝
Thanks Anita - yep, it was a particularly bad cocktail for sure! Don't worry, I had a wine instead - there was no way I was drinking that! I think it's called Schh as a secret and a play on her surname - scherzinger (or however you spell that!) I hope the evening improves as it's not good at the moment. Cheers 🍻

Finally you've peaked. Rimming. 😂 Speaking of smelling like a nightclub. I worked in one for about 15 years so I am intimately familiar with eau de nightclub. It does share some similarities with a swimming pool though. 🚽 Reminds of one time I was dee jaying and some young gentleman decided to use the dance floor, packed dance floor (because I was dee jaying), as a urinal. I indicated to the bouncers what was going on. I was hoping they'd quietly remove the lad, but no. They grabbed him mid stream and swung him around as he squirted like a fire hose. And that is why nightclubs smell of pee. And some of the punters. Pretty sure a few mums were wondering why little Kylie's sequined party dress smelled so rank when they put it in the washing machine the next morning. There are a multitude of other nightclub odours of which I probably won't need to regale you with stories. Filled to the rim with night club stories I am.
So yeah, this Schhh did look like a dodgy cocktail. I used to be a cocktail barman too and... 😁

Did you have to pay for the non experience, crikey the cocktail looks vile. I had a larger a few weeks ago that was so yellow and fruity I just had to leave it.

Just got off iona we watched the show for half a hour utter rubbish pretty much like all the entertainment on board most people left within a hour 🥱😴😴
