Many people in vegetative states can still hear and think. If you want to pursue a relationship after some time i think thats fair enough, but the presenters said at the beginning of the interview that the stroke/ unknown event had happened two years ago (when the couple already had 6 children), and at the end of the interview, the current partner of donna's husband said they had "8 happy children" (meaning that theyd had 2 children in 2 years) which leads me to believe that the affair started pretty much straight after Donna suffered her brain event... how on earth do they live with themselves let alone blasting it on national TV?

The husband seems oddly calm about the whole situation.. surely someone who’s wife went from being ‘normal’ to a vegetive state within what I assume was 24hrs would be absolutely distraught regardless of the carer/girlfriend being there yet he didn’t seem to have any emotional reaction whatsoever and when asked if it’s not weird knowing his wife is upstairs he said no? NOT TO MENTION that they never found the cause and how smug he looked throughout the full of this video.. something is really off here. I hope I’m not the only one who noticed this 🥴

I know exactly where this man is coming from, my wife is ill and I have fell for my wife’s carer, but we haven’t and cannot take it any further, so we are in limbo. Sounds dreadful, but I am just waiting and when it is my time after caring for my wife, I will be ready. I lost her a long time ago, but you say the vows and I will never leave her, but she’s not the person I married.😢. I always say it is like the game show bullseye, when you get to the final and lose, and they bring the prize out you cannot have. Here’s what you could have won 😂. Maybe one day I will win it. Never criticise someone unless you have been there situation, it is dreadfully difficult to deal with, not being loved and being able to hug and be hugged by your wife, you massively miss it and need it from somewhere.
