Another ( tasvideos.org/... ) version ( tasvideos.org/... ) of Prince of Persia... it has quite good music.
The gymnastic master, the future prince of Persia, defies the odds and beats this game in record time.
Interestingly, this game only animates at around 12-20 fps (15 fps on average), contrary to most SNES games, which animate at 60 fps.

Hey all, TAS co-author here. This movie obsoletes the previous one from 2016 (7 years ago!) by more than a minute. Kudos to Challenger for leading this effort and saving every single possible frame! Hope you enjoy

Why does the game jump straight to the menu and skip the opening logo and startup screen?

This is because they used the Japanese version for the movie and this allows to skip them. This doesn't happen on the International release done by Konami.

Lol, y'all still forgot sound menu to make End of Level music go faster with shorter musical cue.
Can probably save another 50 seconds with that + quick music cue to start Boss Rush on Level 19. 😑

They can't do it in Japanese Prince of Persia though, the Konami logo sound is not there.

​@ShauingOfficial It's a TAS. It's takes an extra 2 frames to input "UP" to go to the bottom of the list, and then select short boss intro, which is the same length as Konami Jingle.
Same big savings applies. 20-30 seconds over 20 level endings.
