Note* Armortek ships out their heavy metal tanks and parts in cheap corrugated cardboard boxes and bootleg tape which most of the time are torn or almost in open state when they arrive at you. so sad to say but a company that charges that much should upgrade their boxes for shipping as well.
Not sure I understand the question, The tracks don't stretch. What I do on the test drives is it gives me a base line on the track tension and track length. At this point if I have the track at the right length and tension it will only require small adjustments when the rest of the tank's upper hull and turret are fitted.
I'd love to get my hands on one of these and a 'close enough' scale gas turbine engine initially destined for an RC helicopter. I know it's not scale, but nobody's selling a real, honest to goodness, functional 1/6th scale HL-230 V12 and I don't want mine sounding like a damn string trimmer or a mobility scooter.
oddball759mm Yeeaahh but I'm not fond of electric RC in general. I'd fuel-power mine, and at that point any in-built sound system is wholly useless as you'll never hear it over the engine anyway.
Not with the speakers that these kits come with. They are extremely good quality and loud. Also Gas powered systems are not the best for models like this, They are dirty, get hot, restrict the amount of detailing you can add, and are always mechanically more demanding then electric. Gas / oil always causes a mess and ruins the paint finish... etc. Also there is the problem with a Jet turbine sounding nothing like a HL230
The blue tape was sealing off the interior from the primer and the base coat that was added to the lower hull's exterior, as I didn't want that color bleeding into the interior of the model
Even at this stage, the Tiger is looking good.

I also saw the Ferdinand in the video at 0.23 seconds
I see a ferdinand will there be a video on it :D
someday ;)
When you take the tanks or a test drive, aren't you really stretching the tracks so that you can readjust the track tension?

there will be a sound system added as the build progresses bro.

What type of dc motor are you using for this model ? How much is it's output power and rated torque ?
The motors came with the model so I don't have the technical specs. What I can say is that they are 24V
Was the Ferdinand at the start of the video a commission build or a personal project?
it's mine, not for commission
What is the blue tape on the inside of the hull for? Sealing?
