I have an uncle that was a judge - I love the look of law books as well. He had a company that published them as well. OMG LOL when you showed the law book at the end - Canada Law book was my uncles company.
I just started viewing your channel this weekend and I have to say it’s so nice to see how sweet you both are to each other and to everyone you encounter while thrifting. It’s so relaxing relaxing and fun watching your videos 🤗!
Fabulous items at that estate sale especially the Arctic clothing! It's hard to imagine you guys moving and having to pack and haul ALL your treasures...yowza!
I absolutely love your home and the way you have displayed your treasures - a priceless collection! You should open it up as a museum - what history you have saved. Amazing! But still no fruit….😂❤️. Love you guys - look forward to seeing every episode! Thanks for sharing!❤️
Some great finds guys. I love when you show where things have been placed, been ages since I have seen an update on what the cabinets and cases look like ❤ and those books, Rob was so excited 😊. On and that banter on the fruit had me in giggles 🤭 Rob she is so mean in not letting you have a bowl of fruit in each room 😂😂😂
Those 2 boxes at the estate sale are Genuine Incolay Stone Boxes and can be quite collectible and pricey. Love your videos! Thank You Guys for being you!
Hey Rob&Karen Looks like the family with the estate sale, spent some time in the Arctic. Great video, right through to the end. Take care of one Another 😊
I LOVE the crystal mobile!!! You picked the perfect place to hang it. I would love to find something like that for our home. We have several Swarovski pieces hanging up. 💜
As soon as you hear “I did some research” just laugh and walk away 😂 Just because you saw something listed for a certain price doesn’t mean someone will pay that price!!
Wow, a red garbage truck! Always fun to see what's normal in other locations!---Those boxes were of incolay stone.---I've never seen a crystal mobile before...so kool!--- THIS WAS YOUR BEST REVEAL, EVER! ---(Rob, I have grapes, but I'm considering putting them all on my downsizing sale!)---Kids, I don't wear T-shirts, but if you ever designed tunics, I'd likely buy a few!
@@alanatolstad4824 I was going to ask how you typed that as I have seen it on other's comments in utube land. If they are censoring your comment it sure did nothing to hide it.
Watch their older videos the old fellow treasure finders and sellers. Antique Mall😢Karen shows her amazingly decorated Christmas trees and villages. The house tour is amazing! My favorite are her Sherman collection and uranium glass.
❤❤❤ those tin toys were really neat. The reverse painted bottle is a snuff bottle. Not sure if it was old or not. Really enjoy going with you on your adventures and the placing of your treasures was great.
I love what I seen of your home. It's like going back in time. Love the cabinets full of vintage/antique goodies. Have always wanted a library. Do you have any other videos that shows your home? Have also always wanted an old vintage ladies watch that works and fits me. I'm a plus size woman. My grandpa, uncles and great grandpa all ran a jewelers business and worked on watches. My grandpa also worked on and built clocks. By the way, what do you have against bowls of fake fruit?
Hi Jodi thanks so much!!! The bowls of fake fruit thing is an inside joke between Karen and I because 20 years ago when we met I had a nice art glass plate with some fake fruit on it in my kitchen and I would have been a young guy and Karen thought it was funny, as she had only seen that kind of thing in older folks homes - we get a good laugh from it and it's a fond memory. We did a tour of our home several years ago in this video - have a watch if you like! Some of the rooms have changed a bit decoration wise since but it's the only tour we've made so far: ua-cam.com/video/pDo5mxNT-EY/v-deo.html
Awesome finds. I'm still after barrister bookcases. Every time I see them under 200.00 they get sold before I can message that I'll take it. My wife just picked me up some books from a significant military officer. I really liked those polar bear mittens. They'd go well with my reindeer hyde jacket I made.
Yes I think we have paid around $900 or so for at least 2 of our bookcases.... they don't give those things away unfortunately 😂😂 keep hunting buddy you'll find yours eventually! 😀👍
The house where the law books were in the basement was really a lovely home. Modern. Beautiful kitchen. Different from most of the ones you visit. Barbara.
That isn't exactly resin. Itis called Incolay - used to be super popular back in the 70s. I think it's like ground up stone with a composite material, Very high prices though.
this is literally the problem with estate sales “ we looked it up online “ but they don’t look at comparable they look at what people are asking most likely …. Unless someone on here looked them up? Maybe they are worth it ? LOL
Your wrong those boxes are incoly stone . People that Don't really know make the mistakes of thinking it's resins. They make resin to look like incolay stone. Those boxes can go for 200 to 300. I find them overlooked at thrift stores all the time. For 4 dollars I got one and sold for 300.

Wow that's so cool!!!! 🤯🤯🤯
@@BargainBarons Small world! He used to get my brothers national geographics leather bound for him at Christmas as a present.
Those books will look perfect in your library. Darn on the German toys! Maybe you will still snag them 💕

Hi guys. I would have bought that Norway sterling and enamel brooch too. Great buy!
I see that Norwegian silver enameled brooches are very expensive now in England.
As soon as you hear “I did some research” just laugh and walk away 😂

Right? They've been hired to SELL the stuff.
Out of curiosity I looked up the tops, they do go for quite a bit of money.

I love that you’re going to do a library in your spare room! Would love to see pics! I turned my formal livingroom into a library.
You migjt be suprised that Alabaster fruit is really quite highly collectible and worth quite a sum.
Lol, he likes the plastic variety😅
Love you two and have been watching at least a couple of years now.....quick question how do you avoid being hoarders, surely it is a risk!!
Loved the content 👌. Great video !
I don't envy who does the dusting in your house!

More mid- century than modern, those kitchen cabinets were lovely!
Your collection is next level! Wow awesome
Loved the music.
Just so you know that sterling brooch is worth a lot more than $50.
She shoulda made you a smokin deal on all those books. They wont get fifty cents for them in the buyout.
Wanda, this could be us😊

Oh wow!! So interesting!!! It feels light and almost like a plastic substance but I guess maybe it's a mixture of resin AND natural rock?
Please make your longer videos. IN stead of those shorts you been doing
