Hi guys and welcome to my channel! 😀
I attended the Chanel Cruise 2020 launch event in Singapore.
The event took place at the Chanel boutique at Marina Bay Sands.
I loved a few items, more ready to wear pieces than bags though. This season has amazing jackets and the bow crop tops, that I am so obsessed about. I am still a huge fan of oversized jackets. I liked a lot more items from this collection, than from the Spring Summer 2020. In fact I don’t even feel that excited about the SS2020. I might even skip it.. let’s see. I definitely miss Karl’s vision. Apparently Virginie Viard has used some of Karl’s sketches, I don’t know which ones though. Maybe that’s why I prefer this collection more. I don’t know if I am worried for the brand just yet, Chanel is such a well established company. I don’t see this changing much, but I see myself focusing on other brands more. Especially jewellery designers such as Van Cleef and Cartier. I think if you are following me for a while, you can see that my focus has started to change a bit. Plus the customer service of these is impeccable and that’s equally as important as the quality of the products.
I just hope that the new designer won’t change the brand entirely. I am still a huge fan of Chanel, I just don’t want this to change.
There was my rant.. back to the launch..I also liked the purple and Tiffany blue Chanel bags. The shade of these colors is gorgeous. I have to say that the quality of the lambskin leather is a lot more durable than before.

I love the purple the most this season! You should get the purple in a square mini if they have it. I think the rainbow tweed is so stunning and unique and it actually matches a lot-whatever colors you wear with it, it brings out the different colors and tones in the tweed and looks different. It’s a magical unicorn bag 🦄 😍💝

I felt the same way seeing the new fabric Chanel bags. Even the leather ones in the same style I'm not loving either including the logo like you said. I also have your same blue and white Chanel sweater. I love your videos! I have been a Chanel girl since the early 90's. I was just on a cruise and I went all out wearing all my Chanel, it was so much fun. Living in South Florida, I can't get away with too much Chanel at one time.

Between the purple lambskin and the rainbow tweed flap bag, I'd go for the tweed! Items that give me a headache: the huge bags that look like pillows, the bottle bag thingy, and the pajama cotton purple flap bag. Overall not a great collection in my opinion.
Grace Young indeed. I feel the same way, although I do like lilac and purple jackets and the bow tops. I bought some, but I think Cruise 19 was so much better. I miss Karl...

Chanel has previously discontinued minis in caviar. I am hoping that the new designer will bring them back. Fingers crossed. Hopefully the spring summer 2020 collection might have them.

How much is that purple mini rectangular bag vs square mini in USD?
Princess Leia I can’t remember, I think US Chanel website should have the prices in USD. Unfortunately Singapore website doesn’t have them. From what I remember it’s a bit cheaper than the rectangular mini.
Yes, I still prefer 19 cruise n SS19 collection. And I am not into the 19bag design too. Did you see 20C navy CF, are they same navy shade as 19B shown on your previous video?

iridescent moon nope I don’t have any issues. How bad is it? If you aren’t happy with it, I would recommend to ask your SA to give you another bag. The sooner, the better, because they might ran out of stock. I had to do that before, when I had an issue with the Chanel stamp on my red flap from cc19 and it was totally fine. Your SA l should help you ❤️ and if he/she doesn’t, go to a random one and ask him/her to change for you 😀

The rainbow tweed, it is a casual bag and due to the gradient you can style it with a lot. I think the solid purple is more limiting to match shoes and belts with. The purple fabric bag is hideous, poor design and workmanship. Cruise collections are usually fun, but this one lacks a the craftsmanship to be considered elegant.
admenocal I bet they will struggle to sell those bags in fabric. Who would pay so much money for a bag that won’t last.. I totally agree, although I really love the lilac, teddy purple jackets and the crop top. I also love some dresses, but I didn’t see them in the store. The spring summer 2020 looks even worse. I think I won’t be tempted to get anything 🙄
