My favourite Ice type is Abomasnow. In one of my playthroughs, I switched it in to go up against Cythias Garchomp. With its hail ability, I was able to land a blizzard that OTK that dragon. It was so awsome.

Articuno was my favorite when I was little and since Ice is my favorite type Articuno sits at second place in my all time favorite Pokemon just behind Umbreon.
+MunchingOrange Mo, if you decide to pick eevee after hatching the upcoming eggs, I think you should use a rare candy on it in the winding woods then level it up the rest of the way if that's ok
QotD: Glaceon because it's the only one I have a sentimental connection too. On Platinum I hatched a female Eevee (took forever), evolved her, and trained her from a level 1 to being in I think level 70s-ish. She was my ticket to beating Cynthia's dreaded Garchomp.
QotD: I love the Vanilite line. Sure, they look goofy, but it's got pretty good special stats, and I've used one in a Nuzlocke, so I know how good they are.
Froslass, but Weavile, Mamoswine, Glaceon, Yeti ((Mega)Abomnasnow)and Rotom Frost are pretty cool too... (But design wise, I like Ice cream... mmm... Ice cream, kidding, I won't eat a Pokémon. But Ice cream is good...)
QOTD: Lapras. But really love Weavile, too. Using it in Platinum right now. Can't stand this blasted puzzle, especially now since they pretty much flew through it. MO lost the cage match the moment he chose Nidoqueen.
QOTD: Sneasel. Only reason over weavile is design wise. I've always loved it's design as a kid and in the movie pokemon 4 ever and i just prefer it to weavile
