Just a quick question,if you wanted to replicate the kit/weight the lads carried, for your own training. For the 4Km they were wearing belt order and the 40L issue Daysack. For the 2Km they were wearing belt order and the issue 17L assault pack. Packed 17L carried inside the 40L to make up the weight up to the start point of the 2Km??? If so does anyone know what items are packed in each(belt order/17L/40L)?
Get them to shoot at bullshit until they run out of ammunition. Then continue shooting back with your unlimited supply. Match their training distances but run across much tougher environments than smooth flat paths.
How to get good at tabbing, fast walking especially with short legs im 4 foot 8 manlet, I wanna be able to catch up with the same pace and stride but I guess they're going to have farther steps 😞
Just practise carrying weight mate. Time in the hills carrying weight is brilliant and will give you a good head start. Just remember to start off slow and light, then build up the weight and distance as you progress.
Are the recruits doing the 4KM tab with 20KG and 2KM run with 15KG ? Because I am about to start basic training phase 1, I have chose infantry rifles regiment and I would like to know if this it will be done by the infantry rifles regiment please.
