I watched The Sound of Music in a movie house when I was 15 years old and now that I am already 74 years old I still love to watch it over and over again. The greatest movie of all times !!
A lovely story that has captivated the hearts of millions. It was my late mother’s favourite film and whenever it was shown, usually at Christmas it was a must see on her part. When we acquired VCR of course it was necessary to get her the tape of the movie for her collection. She loved musicals and I think she must have had most of those ever made in Hollywood.
My go to medication when I need a 'feel good' moment to settle me when I need a 'pick me up'. I loved this movie (based on the real life story of the Von Trapp family) for its romance, courage and the belief that God is always in control in our lives. Such a beautiful couple Christopher Plummer and Julie Andrews!
God is ONLY in control of our lives when we GIVE Him ourselves, commit to Him and OBEY the New Testament, then the Holy Spirit directs us DURING our lives....

And a very true statement that many don't listen to, making their lives miserable.
カットされてるけど、公爵夫人の別れのセリフが大人で大好き。自分が大人になって、彼女がいかに心を抑えて大人の対応を取ったことがわかる。
