I own the ergonomic chair for the most part I do like it. I have had it over a year now. It was an early birthday present for myself. There are some disadvantages to it. I also have an older AMQ by Steelcase, which sits better. At some point I want to get another chair. Both of these are better than what I have at work. The seat depth adjustability is very nice. The tilt is better on the Steelcase.
Hi, Dan! So, after I think an entire year of agonizing deliberation and painstaking research and trying out chairs--I did eventually, oddly enough, settle on this cute number here. 🙃 I've now been a Verve owner for 9 months. It wasn't an easy decision by any means, but I ultimately decided to sacrifice comfort and prestige for relative affordability and aesthetics. As right and honest as you are, I couldn't help but jokingly exclaim, "ohhh dannnn but it is cuuute thooo" lmao. It's not a HORRIBLE chair by any means, it works out for me, but I agree it's not...the greatest chair to have for long stints and its functionality could DEFINITELY be improved. I was absolutely waiting for you to roast the arms. 😂😂😂 all the grief this chair gets for the godawful arms is, sadly, well deserved. I knew that diving in. Amusingly enough, I was lucky enough to recieve one that had a defective right arm (it would be stuck in place and not move up or down), but Branch was very nice to ship me a new one. But I honestly never mess with the arms. The seat is comfortable at first, but it's not great for sitting for long work hours. It might also be too upright and stiff for my liking, but I can't help but love how it looks?! The pop of coral pink goes so well in my room and setup's color scheme. One day, I hope I can splurge on a beautiful Steelcase Karman or Cosm...those are beautiful chairs. 🥰 Thanks for being honest!!!
Ahhhh! This is one of the things I hate as a reviewer...hahaha I don't like making people feel buyer's remorse over their purchases! You bought this chair with your hard earned money and you should be proud and don't let anyone make you feel otherwise! I am truly humbled by you though! Thank you for being ahnest about your opinions of your own chair - you could have easily roasted me and said I don't know what I'm talking about, but you saying you agree with a lot of my thoughts takes a lot of humility! It is beautiful though and for a few stints of sitting here and there, it could definitely be worth it to some to add extra flair to their room/office! And thanks for letting me know about how their customer service came through for you! Helps me recommend the brand!
To people watching these videos, just buy a Steelcase Leap, Herman Miller Embody or Haworth Fern or Zody, just spend the money for the best and be happy. 😄
Thank you so much, bro! I used to have the Ergonomic one but I returned it because I’m 5’11”, it was too short for me. If only they had a tall back variant for it.. Cheers!
Holy shitake mushrooms I was just about to pull the trigger on the Verve when something in the back of my mind told me to check youtube one last time for a comparison to the ergo and here we are. I just saved about ~$200 thanks to you Ahn and definitely used your affiliate link. One helluva comparison review brotha.
An interesting chair out there that has no content made on it what's so ever is the lenovo legion mesh gaming chair. Looks very good for the price but is not talked about whatsoever
@@Ahnestly Thanks for the reply 🙌, btw bought the Haworth Fern yesterday after watching your #1 chair video. Customized it and will need to wait one month for Haworth to deliver the chair, the waiting will be hard. But can't wait
I have this chair and the armrests do NOT stay locked. I can move them up and down freely, but they do not lock into place at any height. If you put your arms on the armrests, they will immediately fall down. It's maddening. I can't find any information on how to lock them and the manual and Branch website have next to no information. Is my chair faulty? Someone please help before I lose my mind!
Hey Dan! Love the videos! Just wondering if you'd had any experience with Newtral chairs? Been looking into an affordable ergonomic chair and saw this pop up on my feed. The kickstarter price on their new chair is really tempting and it seems to have a ton of options when it comes to adjustability but just wanted a second opinion.
Hey! So I am in the process of trying to get one to review...IMHO, go with a reputable brand, reputable warranty, and never worry again. Recommend a remanufactured or authorized return Steelcase Amia from Crandall Office (assuming you're in the USA).

Dude same. I got the embody because of him lol
Same! Still watching more chairs
@@freedonx @VidVayder yall the best!! Thanks for the love and support!

I may look into the Embody.
How timely! I was just trying to decide between the ergonomic or verve chairs! Thank you!

Is there a chair in the $500 range with headrest that makes sense to lean back and look forward?

Same here. I got the Atlas Headrest for it. Would recommend! Waiting for Ahnestly to make a video about it.
@@mneonew87 I’ve been looking into it! Is there an adapter or something needed?
Yes, atlas headrest sells it!

Can you make a video on chairs with no wheels? Oddly i have to use adjustable feet to counter my uneven floor
You can buy replacement “wheels” for any chair and just get feet instead of wheels!
Thank you for saving me money, time, and hassle!

That is insane. How did you get it this cheap?!

@@Caution40404 I got it off auction at a local place, still using it to this day I love it
The color of this Verve's seat makes it look like a tongue. So now I can't get the image of sitting on a tongue outta mah head...
LOL I can't unsee it....
Your tongue is coral?
Looks like a lobby chair
Lol
