I think Simmons deserves more credit for this groups success, given he was a liability on both ends of the floor early in the season and was struggling to play alongside KD and Kyrie. Now he’s back to his old self it seems, making the passes to unlock KD and the others while also being their main defensive chaser so the others can avoid as much of the running and bumps from screens. Also, from a personal standpoint, he seems to have regained a lot of his confidence in his game, as he doesn’t seem to shy away from contact as much anymore and is more likely to drive and/or shoot, despite still showing no signs of having a jumpshot. I think Ben can really adopt the Draymond role and just feed his teammates with passes and screens and great defense. Probably needs more minutes without Claxton too but you can play a 3-out 2-in pretty well when you’ve got a 7 footer shooting unstoppable attempts.

casuals need to watch this vid on the nets and so do reporters. this vid shows and explains clearly the amount of movement and misdirection the nets have in their offense. casuals only see pnr and down screens and dho's but people who actually know ball will see that they run literally 2 and sometimes 3 different actions before they even get into their main stuff and by that time the defense is confused and someone almost always gets a clean look which is why the nets are shooting so well as a team. its not only cuz of kd an ky's gravity but its mostly because of the confusion their new offense causes. most teams will run 1 or the other but the nets will run a pistol into horns into a dho that will lead into so many things, mostly clax being open at the rim lol or ben. so beautiful

I’m a Mavs fan and wanted KD to come back to Texas to play with Luka just imagine trying to defend both players when they go into the post. Before anyone says Luka can’t play off ball he was forced not to do it in NBA due to the Mavs lack of ball handlers/playmakers. He’s done it outside of NBA and has proven he can win playing like that he’s said he hates playing this current way because he prides himself on being able to do everything and he just wants to win and do what’s best for his team success.

The major difference between the Nash Nets and Vaughn Nets is def the defense and the flow of the offense. Simmons is being used properly as a ball handler, setting up Durant and Kyrie for cleaner looks and getting shooters like Curry and Harris involved without having the ball in KD/Kyries hands. But Simmons as the primary POA defender is going to be huge in the playoffs cause they never had that. KD won’t be ripping off 40+ minute games while guarding guys like Tatum and Giannis. Kyrie and Seth won’t be the primary ball defenders since they would always get blown by. Simmons is the key to their success and his value will def show come playoff time. I think they’ll be a better matchup with this team against Boston if they were to play in a series again

boston lost twice to orlando... a win is a win this are all pro basketball players playing at a high level LMAO!!! if u think its easy to become an nba player and be in the league then be my guess step out ur moms basement and get in the league. this got to be the lamest excuse ever and this is coming from a laker fan... heck we would take a 11 game win streak right now please.. but nah that aint no damn freebie boy

Non-sense if thats ur point then all top teams with easy sched should've 10 winning streaks already. Ur treating other teams like bums, saying easy sched is disrespectful.

I really wish kd and this team would shoot more 3s in general they gonna be unstoppable kd can easily shoot 45% from 3 if he takes 6-8 a game
