M17X & M18X | SIG SAUER

- The M17X & M18X are the perfect combination of the Army’s pistol design with the addition of the X-Series grip module and the fully enclosed and sealed Romeo-M17 red dot.
The X-Series grip module is designed with an extended beavertail and deep undercut for a high grip and better recoil control, and the flat blade trigger provides a smoother and more consistent feel. The Romeo-M17 optic (recently assigned a NATO NSN number) is fully enclosed and sealed, utilizes SIG-LOC mounting for the perfect pistol/optic lockup, and features a durable 7075 aluminum housing.
The M17X & M18X now deliver the Army's chosen pistol with the latest in SIG SAUER Electro-Optics technology.

I cant wait for the M18X-Comp-Spectre-Macro-AXG Legion version next year...
At this pace we'll see the M19 in a few Weeks. They probably hired the Management Guys from Apple
Right? Hahha
I don’t laugh at comments. But this one did it to me lmao
Good one. This a $$ grab for sig
😂 nailed it 😂
Nikki Haley would ban this in a heartbeat, if given enough money.
She’s a see you next Tuesday
Nikki = Corrupt
*GOP's Hillary*
Maybe. But Trump actually banned bump stocks.
Her heels are her ammo 😂
And you know this how..
I run a 320 compact in an x compact grip module. Love that pistol and I don't leave home without it
Pimped the m18 out a little and I love the gun. Great choice!
And it costs…SEVEN THOUSAND LOAVES OF WONDERBREAD! 😂
That's only for the M17-X, the M18-X costs 3 karts of groceries and a full tank of diesel.
When will these include a manual safety option similar to the original M17?
Your finger off the trigger is the safety.
Why? It isn't a rifle. The trigger is protected by a holster until the weapon is drawn. No need for a manual safety on a pistol.
@@christianduty3576 exactly totally agree
@@christianduty3576 The 1911 was a pistol - why did people need a manual safety on it for over 100 years?
swap out the grip module and you can add the manual safety.
Hopefully this means that Sig is finally phasing out the standard P320 grip module . Xseries grips are just all round better, specifically the TXG or LXG variants. This would make a fun IDPA gun.
I completely agree. The original P320 grip modele just doesn't feel great whereas the newer X series feels so much better. This is a big improvemeng and I hope they make the new X series coyote P320 available as its own option.
They need to get rid of that random thickness toward the beavertail though. The X Compacts don’t have it and neither does the XTen grip and they are so much more comfortable. That random thickness/ledge towards the rear of the slide and beavertail just digs into my thumb knuckle. It’s such a sharp angle too instead of rounding off.
You can just dremel that off a bit - I sand it down on my competition TXG modules @@Berserkable
So in six months the built in comp version will release?
lmao..in the trade world HOLD!!!
Make the damn optic for commercial slides and drop the price a few more pennies.
I trained with the M17 as an MP and I love it. It’s a great pistol.
awesome man!
Does it include the shake-awake function?
Yeah
I still prefer my P-226 with night sights from the late 1980's!
I prefer my 226 sao legion all day as well
german 226, m11, mk25, 226 sao. GTW guns. never had one shoot it self
I just want a micro 9mm in DA/SA about the same size as the p365 and it would be sick if it used the same magazine universe.
She sure built sweet, got everything uncle John need
NO @@xusmico187 No Sig shoots itself. You're thinking of negligent discharges from poorly trained cops using the wrong holsters.
So you sold the military the 💩 models and came out with the X series....😂 for the civilian market.😮
The m17 was my first firearm, man how I really want this firearm I can't afford it right now
You can buy that grip module you know. They only run about 80 bucks.
Do yourself a favor and just buy the Brouwer M1811 grip module. I’ve had all the polymer grip modules except the Mirzon and non of them come close to the comfort, natural point of aim and the magwell is honestly magic with how buttery smooth it makes reloads. Also feels a bit more heavy duty as well.
@@Berserkable oh i didn't know that, thank you for the information brother
"man how I really want this firearm I can't afford it right now" - everyone (about any firearm)
When can we get the slide and the grip module for existing M17s and M18s?
Is it possible to put a p320 max michel competition spring kit to lighten up the trigger pull on the M18X
take my money so I can finally run the romeo 17
Nice ad for the romeo. And flat trigger is sweet.
I wonder what the $ difference between this M18 and the P320X carry
I loved the X Carry model.
The Spectre nailed it.
The big difference are the recoil spring, and the ability for it to accept sigs optic. Also the x grip is different. There could be other differences, but that's what I'm aware of.
How does one learn how to pick parts for a P320 build? Where do I get the knowledge? Is there a book or class or what?
I want to build a 320 race gun.
Congrats we’re going to change the grips out for you guys.
Please offer this with a manual safety, just like the actual M17 and M18.
Why? It isn't a rifle. The trigger is protected by a holster until the weapon is drawn. No need for a manual safety on a pistol.
@@christianduty3576trigger sometimes gets pushed by stuff other than an intentional index finger
@@SoraviaNot really actually. The trigger safety is simply a safety ON the trigger not for it. A trigger sadety is actually a drop safety
@Soravia (full explaination) It's an understandable and common misconception but if you can imagine anything that is able to get inside the guard and pull the actual trigger, that thing would also be able to depress the trigger safety. However, almost every modern gun has a internal drop safety so the firing pin doesnt break lose when its dropped. However, when dropped occasionally the trigger and trigger bar has enough weight to pull the trigger through inertia force. Obviously to the gun it's indistinguishable from an intentional pull and therefore bypasses the internal drop safety. A trigger safety prevents this.
From what I'm seeing in the video, there looks to be a safety only on the right side of the gun, but not the left? Unless I'm mistaking it for something else on the gun, but it definitely looks like one
Finally an X-Series for these tools. WHERE is the manual safety??? Will it be an option?
Agreed. I wish they made an slightly extended safety for easier use.
So basically it’s a p320x with the m series cerakote. No manual safety which is the only reason to get the m series over the normal p320
I miss when SIGs firearms actually made you feel something...now its all cut and paste. Bring back the sig556...design some handguns that dont feel so soulless..miss the 226,229
Yes. The 556. !! Still have my full length carbine and SBR. 10". Still my favorite shooting rifles I have. I have a tricked out gen 1 MCX that comes close but the 556 is butter smooth
New ones are available, they still make them!

Beautiful guns
Do you think the m18x would work as a concealed carry?
Maybe, but a better option would be the p365x macro. Given enough clothes, anything is concelable. I think this is more of a duty and zombie gun.
I heard this is Sigs worst pistol they have ever made.
It would make sense that the US military would have a contract for a cheaply made weapon.
I have this pistol and it is great. You “heard” it’s the worst pistol and never shot it. You’re an idiot lol
Did you fix the problem with the Ball ammo?
If the FCU is precut for a manual safety I’ll buy one. Otherwise just gonna get the optic.
Don't drop it
That’s old. But keep it going if you need the attention
@dsig7776 old? Discharge at a police station recently and how they danced around the reason behind it. I like sig that's why I got a 226.

Can y’all please make an updated SP2022! Would love to have a polymer hammer fired gun from y’all that comes optics ready! It would also be incredible if y’all could make it have a fcu
This shit is like $1400. Buy a FCU and build it out exactly as you want with a compensator and an optic for $1800 at most. I did, never regret it.
Just make sure you dont drop it lmao
I’m not an operator and don’t play one on TV, I’ll stick to my plain old black Glock. Who am I kidding? I’ll be getting one.
M17 IS ARMY And M18 Is US MARINE CORPS My Favorite Branch Military 🇺🇸💪🏻⚓️🪖👽🛸🎮
the p320 m17 m18 is just genius... why would you make the slide different from the military contract one?
I want this to have my little brass babies.
Woah sick its like a Beretta APX Combat but not as good and twice the price! COOL!
Are these legal in the great state of the People's Republic of Washington😅
love the x series grip module, now i can absolutely obliterate my p320's ejector with style!!!
Cool that the P320 M18 can't mount a Romeo M17 optic. Well done.
When will they be available. Been looking at all my distributors and nothing.
Please make 20 round magazines for these pistols so we can have them in europe too
I wish they would make a ploymer 226 or 229 for a change....
these will never replace my p226 and p229
I’d still go with the Beretta.
Is this grip tungsten infused like the P320 xCarry? Can I just get the grip for my xCarry?
Good thing I waited and didn’t buy the old one 😂😂
Shut up and take my money!
trash auto fire feature
Is it drop safe too?
so, unless these are replacing what you already were selling it's not the next generation it's just another version of what you've already been selling.
SUPER.. SIG.. ❤
so does this come with the manual safety?
Are these available on civilian market?
Wait, how many Sigs can sig release in a year? The P320 has officially surpassed Skyrim.
It will beat Porsche 911 series soon 😂
I'm M17
It’s like iPhones at this point.
Great stuff. Buying one this weekend!

They never did.
So what's the price?
🥵🥹 I love it !!
$1400 is crazy
Ruggedized
Hell yes
Would love to get our hands on one!
The 320 line and M17/M18 line is just a better gun than a Glock in every way. I ran Glocks since 2015 through 2021, and as soon as I shot an M17 and started training with it, it immediately replaced my MOS Glock 17.
I respectfully disagree. Bore axis too high. Larger than a glock 17/19 in every way. To me the glock still beats it. That being said ive moved on to da/sa for most shooting. Far superior system.
Number of times a Glock has gone off from being dropped: 0
Interesting...
Dear Santa ❤️
Great, now SIG finally makes an M17 and M18 with the military slide (why was the civilian one ever different?) but no manual safety, so it's not quite an M17/M18. This looks more like the Danish Military P320. I know I'm in the minority, but I actually do not like the XGrip either since it's too thick where the thumb sits.
isnt a m17/m18 slide without a safety literally identical to a standard 320 slide?.... this seems like the dumbest idea ever they are re-releasing the 320 weapon set AGAIN but this time..... its brown!!!! it seems so greedy
@@memesarentfunny2248 The difference is in the optics cut. For some reason, the civilian version of the M17/M18 is slightly different from the military version (basically the plate is attached with two screws toward the center instead of one screw through the rear sight. There are a couple other differences but that’s the main thing), which means it’s incompatible with the new M17 military optic. SIG is finally releasing the military slide to the public so that we can use this new optic, but the gun it’s attached to is not the military configuration; it’s this XCarry-ish P320 with the military slide instead. If SIG had just released the military M17 pistol to begin with, this wouldn’t be necessary.
@@riflemanm16a2 Thankyou for the detailed information because now i can pass that on. Im a gun salesman so its hard to keep up with all the tomfoolery in the industry sometimes. If what you said is accurate though they had better release the slide solo as well to swap with existing platforms. Buying a whole new, not cheap, firearm for a particular optic seems an excessive requirement. Do you know if there is any change to the depth of the optic cut? I heard that might be the case for cowitnessing but cant seem to confirm
@@memesarentfunny2248 As far as I know, the depth of the cut is the same. This particular optic sits very low and allows co-witness with standard height iron sights. Since the rear sights are attached to the top of the plate (both in the civilian and military versions but in slightly different manners), the optic comes with a rear sight attached.
I don't think I could give up my P365. Best most reliable gun I've ever owned.
They'll probably make more upgrades to those.
@@a.c.2499 they already have made several significantly better versions lol
This 320 isnt even close to the same category or usage set as a p365. You would have almost no crossover of purpose and you truely need both types of systems.

I’m just starting to get into guns but is a m18 better than a p320?
the M18 is basically a p320 x-carry
@@andrewschliewe6392 ...plus a manual safety.
@@JeffCaffey which is very easy to add or remove based on one's preference
but the M18 is a bit big for a ccw and for a house gun a bit small. I got the M18 but I added a comp to it and is easy to shoot.
@andrewschliewe6392 Well, okay I guess... but why remove the part that makes them different? If you want an X- carry without the manual safety, why not just get that in the first place?
Are they firing on trigger pull or do I have to give them a hard slap?
15 round version available ?
The sig p320 or in this case the m17/m18 are 9mm pistols with the flush magazine capacity sitting at 17+1 and an extended magazine that sits at 21+1 so why then would ya want only 15 rounds? Lol or did ya assume it was a .45? The FNX 45 tactical gotcha covered there with a 15+1 flush magazine in the lords caliber 😎

The most common cause of stovepiping is limp wristing. One of the other common causes is weak/low pressure ammo.
