Monk Synopsis: Adrian Monk (Emmy®-winner Tony Shalhoub) was once a rising star with the San Francisco Police Department, legendary for using unconventional means to solve the department's most baffling cases. But after the tragic and still-unsolved murder of his wife, Trudy, the devastated Monk becomes obsessive-compulsive. His psychological disorder has caused him to develop an abnormal fear of virtually everything: germs, heights, crowds... even milk. Monk's condition costs him his job, but he's back as a police consultant despite the unique challenges he encounters in his everyday life. These challenges lead Monk to hire a personal nurse, Sharona Fleming (Bitty Schram), who is always there to offer her assistance, even with the simplest of tasks (like organizing his sock drawer). Her less-than-subtle prodding keeps the "defective detective" on track in his investigations, as well as in his efforts to convince Captain Stottlemeyer (Ted Levine) to allow him to return to the force.

I’m glad Randy was able to provide the bit of evidence needed to actually get the bad guy arrested. He needed the win and it was sweet how Monk helped him too.😊💕
Randy is so lovable 😊

The sheriff is Brooke Adams, Mrs Tony Shalhoub 😊
She also played the flight attendant too
@@vjackson96 AND the mother of the violin player, AND a cat lady...
They left out the funniest parts, where Tony and Brooke dances, where she winks at him, and at the end gives him a slap on the bottom and he can't stop smiling, so out of character! That made me laugh😂 And Randy asking Monk why he's smiling😂
@@tobyfitzpatrick3914 And the publisher in the Monk movie
Monk impressed by Randy. Heartwarming!
He was the only one who heard the gunshot
The episode that got me watching Monk. I was like. “How did I just find out about this show.” 😂.
“ …but it’s a bus ? To a Farm ? “. Haha
“Uh Ohhhh. RIVER DANCCCE”! 😂
Ya gotta start season 1 and watch till the end! Theres an ongoing story about his wife
This was a lovely episode. How great of a detective Randy was, solving the case all by himself with no help but a little from monk to start his journey. That dream really helped in solving the case for him.
For Monk Green Acres is definitely NOT the place to be 😂🐷
what about a field of burned illegal plants on his property?
I thought about that too. Even burned up the roots would remain.
Monk was higher than a kite and had the munchies
Right
FIELDS OF REEFER!
They’d need a warrant to verify the property or the farmer’s consent to a search.
Hang on -- in _"Mr Monk Gets Cabin Fever"_ , Randy states that he doesn't have any Uncles...
True
The sheriff is Tony’s real wife 😂😂😂
Got rid of the town Drug Dealer and the Town Bully
Lol "Oh God I sniffed in reefer" "OH here it comes river dance" "Otis do not give me that key, no matter what happens" "Oh God, I see little lights now" Otis "Yeah they're fireflies" Then he has the look of I know what happened" and the sprinkler runs on him n gets him wet
Why do people repeat what everyone already hears?..
@@magdatorruellas9122 it’s funny to me!

Go Randy!!!❤
Brilliant acting. All 5 characters
12:49 he could have just grabbed the keys destroying the evidence 😊
Then he get charged for tampering with evidence
Poor Nadine. 🐷
I don’t remember the last time I saw this
Well done Randy 👏 ✔️
Hi, Mr Solis.
Good one
Noone would set all that ablaze!
The pig is cute.
River dance !!!! Ha ha ha
Did they ever explain how Balmont lifted the truck onto the salt blocks by himself? Or even how he lifted the unconscious Harvey with such (apparent) ease?
Could have used a jack for the truck , simple enough
Oh Carlos
It's Nash Bridges dad!
Where in america do people notice a gunshot while at a barn dance.
Where in America do people notice a gunshot?
Alternate ending:
The pig killer gets away with it by having a barbeque for the police, who ate all the evidence.
😮
Beats my mind but never makes sense , stupid suspects😢
9:57 -- "At some point, you hit him--probably from behind."
If he was hit as shown, wouldn't the coroner have seen the wound? In which case suicide would not have made sense.
Perhaps this was in the episode (which I've never seen)?
He was then shot in the head. So no the initial wound might not be visible anymore.
It seems like the sheriff's office were confident enough of the suicide explanation that there wasn't am autopsy? Though that's not said explicitly.
@@harringt100 Agreed that that makes sense. But wouldn't there at least be a thorough examination of the body (short of an autopsy) that would have revealed it?
I don't mean to demand too much realism of Monk though. I have figured out that it's not a documentary. 🙄
I never understood why his uncle had a problem with that guy growing reefer.
I believe it was illegal at the time to grow it
@@RazzLaBeepbetter times than now
How do he even find out about the reefer? Does he know it when he sees it or did he accidentally smoke it?
It's not like it's that hard to recognize...
@@RazzLaBeep So what? Its not his business. Frankly the guy probably isnt hurting anyone. I dont see the big deal. its no different than growing tobacco
