Great, what’s the standard gauge for slates and to the top course 👍
These are 250m gauge. 12/24 size wise . Different slate sizes have different batten gauges
Are you using cembrit 300 x 600 fibres? What do you set your first slating batten from the fascia please mate?
23 inch mate
You will need to put a batten below that at 9 an 3 quarters an one more below that at 4 inch if that makes sense?
@@revski1979 I've always done 13" or 13&1/4" depending on the kick or if using over fascia vents. Then for the eave batten I've put it 2" below first batten
@@Reddwarf1994 yes 13 is fine mate then I would put 1 batten underneath that at 4 inches. That’s just how I do it tho . What ever works for you 👍🏻
