During the draft ww1 her brother was mean't to go to war but he was very sickly and had a weak immune system so she decided she would dress up as a man and go in his place and while she was in hospital after this battle i think her commander discovered she was a female and told her she would be retired and she tried to convince him to let her stay he said stay at attention and I'll think about it she stood at attention all day without moving after he discovered she had stood there all day he gave in and allowed her to stay in the army and i heard that during ww2 the german high command generals asked her to dinner because they respected her but she rejected them because they conquered Yugoslavia (aka serbia) and because they were nazi and i also heard somewhere that she ran an orphanage and Rescued 10 children
Emilia Plater was a Polish captain, who fought against the Russians in 1831. Russia had women snipers. I don't think it was odd for Slavs to have women serving in the military, especially when they are resistance forces.🇵🇱💪
