I can’t believe Candy Crush made most people forget Bejeweled. Bejeweled is definitely the best match 3 series because of its gameplays, art styles, and musics. I remember playing Bejeweled 2 during the golden age of this series.
Before King started diving into the app making, they were awesome at score attack games. They even had Bejeweled 2 on their website just with the twist that you get through as many levels as possible within the time limit by hitting progressively bigger score goals. I think you had to score 100 to advance to level 2

When I was little I always watched my mother play it, and she taught me how to play the game. When I got my very first computer when I was 11 I installed this game and I was hooked! The music and the visuals maybe older now, but it's definitely the best Version of the game out of the entire series in my opinion.

This, RollerCoaster Tycoon 3, Toontown, 3D Pinball Space Cadet, World of Goo, all those freaking Star Wars games… nothing else really compares quite the same way. Also, *why did the music for this and RCT3 go so HARD?*

This is what happened in the original Candy Crush. Not only you have to complete objectives within the limited moves given, you also have to be careful not to run out of available moves. Since then the reshuffle mechanism has been introduced, but reshuffle can be glitchy at times. "...but you can't move them" You may try play Action mode. It's all about making quick matches.
Clearly remember splitting my computer time pretty much entirely between this and Ragnarok Online when I was younger. Who else here can never forget this soundtrack?

I remember playing this on my eMachines pc tower. It included a free trial to their games library and this was among that library. The sound effects make making moves so satisfying, the music makes the experience soothing, visually the game was gorgeous (especially at its time.) Bejeweled 2 will always be one of my favorite puzzle games of all time.

We bought the game, and spent over 500 hours playing it. For my childhood I never thought much about how advanced this game was for its time. Today I still think this game is amazing, and way ahead of its time. Bejeweled 3 looks lackluster by comparison.

After EA's acquisition of PopCap and the explosion of CCS' popularity, match 3 games has probably become shit. Repetitive gameplay, microtransactions, man Bejeweled 2 is probably the best match 3 game in the entire world. I remember playing this on my mom's old laptop, such better times man.
