My parents have a 2016 Grand Cherokee Limited with the 3.0L Diesel and it does well and is pretty economical for a V6 in such a large, heavy car. Ive driven it and love it. Though there is significantly noticeable turbo lag. Other than that its a great engine and fits perfect with the car. Plus it doesn't sound that bad. Its quiet until you put it in sport mode and really push the car.
I’m from Colorado and have a 2018 limited V6... I think it’s plenty of power even in higher altitudes. Obviously the V8 is going to be more powerful, but I do a lot of driving, so fuel economy on the V6 is a plus. I’m averaging 24,5 mpg (highway and city mixed).
Lucas Peruzzo Yes I was thinking that 290 hp v6 should be enough for a jeep, my 2001 Chevy Silverado Z71 had 285 hp V8 and I thought it had plenty enough power in a full size truck
These Jeeps have serious transmission issues. Shifting is erratic, downshift are rough and bang into gear. I have had three software updates done on my 2015 and the transmission valve body was just replace, but the problems persist. Just be aware of this if you are considering purchasing one. My dealer told me he has had as many as 16 Grand Cherokees in his shop at the same time with transmission issues.
We had a Dodge Durango Limited as our rental two weeks ago in Los Angeles. I was surprisingly impressed by how nice it was too. Drove really well and was super comfortable. I thought the V6 in that was more than adequate but I could see at elevation how it would struggle. Overall the Durangos and Grand Cherokees are vehicles worth the money.
Yeah, closer to sea level the V6 is adequate power, but up at elevation, it's really struggling, especially with a family of 4 in the car. Other than that, it's an excellent SUV.
These cars are great! My uncle is on his 2nd 2014 because the transmission went out a few weeks after he bought the first one. Thankfully, after 50,000 miles the 2nd one has had no problems.
Is there any limitations to the 2015 grand Cherokee limited? I mean the 4wd I have doesn’t have 4wd high just low? I’ve just been curious if my limitations of my jeep?
I will never understand why y'all car reviewers gotta turn on the freaking hazards for?! *IT RUINS THE FULL HEADLIGHT AESTHETIC!* *stop hazards 2k17* Other than that, dope car.

The Limited package on the Grand Cherokee is really luxurious. I wouldn't mind taking one of these on a road trip!
They're great!
My dream car 👌👌👌
You sir have my stamp of approval on your showing of this vehicle..GREAT JOB

What is the turbo lag from? My 2015 jeep patriot does the same thing, revving at the 100km/hr mark....
Texas people; "ya'll northerners dont know nothing about the heat."
*33 degrees hits "OMG what is this?!?!"
33 in a good day 15-20 in a bad day
To be honest, i'm not a huge fan of the grand cherokee but now i'm really into it. I just wish it had 7 seats. great review!
Thanks!
Not to my knowledge.
The grand wagoner will be out in 2021.
oh how this video made me want to cry...
I love it & don't want to give it back to Enterprise.

Sorry to hear about the issues with yours! Hopefully they can get it sorted out soon. Aside from the transmission, they're excellent cars though!

So, you recommend the v8?
Yes.
Enough about a little snow and above freezing temp! Otherwise, thanks for the review.
I’m from Minnesota where 33 degrees feel like spring Lmaoo
Do you know what car rental place this was from by any chance?... I want to rent one and drive it before I commit to owning one!!!
I have the same suv and it looks and drive well.

Seems to be a common issue with the 2014's. Seems like they fixed it for 2015 & 2016, though.
Him:Holy crap it’s cold
Me:Get in the car
Its AMAZING!!!
The Jeep Grand Cherokee
the middle class Land Rover, even comes with the reliability as well.
Pretty much. I'd have one in a heart beat.
RCGCarReviews It's the only Fiat- Chrysler vehicle I respect.
Needs more Commander
I thought you hated your commander?
It just needs more V8 hahaha

I just did one about 3-4 weeks ago. Take a look on the channel and you'll find it!
Fender clearly been repainted. Horrible color match.
This guy is such a snob
I have never been a fan of silver / grey it's so boring.
Got me dizzy af. You move around like a bumblebee. lol
Yep, I stopped it after 90 secs. Hack.
Always liked the look of those. Thanks for doing a snow job and enjoy your vacation!
Thanks man!
I love my jeep but I can honestly say my transmission is a bit sketchy right now... I'm definitely replacing the transmission and keeping it
what year do you have and how long have you had it? Im looking at buying one

The 3.6L V6 has plenty of power. The speed make this truck feel faster than it actually is
Nothing about the sunroof though 😕
He definitely talked about it
nice review.
Thank you!
Haha southern people lol
