I got mine 2 weeks ago, we have this game shop and you could reserve it. I did so at christmas 2020. Had to wait till start of july 2021 but i got it. It was worth the wait.
I was finally able to order mine on 12th July and it will be delivered within 3 days! Excited! Got mine from amazon without doing any shenanigans. Can't believe I got it that easily from amazon after trying out so many outlets for months! Just stick to amazon and use their app instead of web. Their app has better servers.

I have a crazy story about how I got a PS5. I had to go to Curry's to get a laptop charger and a printer, and so I wasn't specifically in there to see if there were PS5s but I had a look around for them just in case, and of course, no PS5s. I assumed there were none in stock so I went to the checkout to pay for the other stuff, and as I was at the checkout I noticed staff wheeling in a trolly with about 15 boxes on it. At first I didn't even think about it but when I took a closer look I realised they were wheeling in new stock of about 15 PS5s! I straightaway asked if they were for sale or if they were ordered online and amazingly they were up for grabs. It's an insane coincidence I even had the money for it on me that day, but thank god I did because after over half a year of waiting I never felt so thrilled.

I was finally able to get a PS5 too! I was a little late to the party, because I had some trouble saving up my money to get one because everything I ever owned just all randomly decided to start slowly breaking down. But now that everything is fixed I was able to finally get myself a PS5, and I love it so much!

I never tried to get a PS5 at the start because of bots but for the past couple months it hasn’t been too bad. There’s no “refreshing the page all day till stock appears” it’s literally just research what places get restocks when, then waking up early enough to catch a restock.
