Iso Trae is team killer...sux the air out of the room. You could see the life of the team deflate with Trae back on the floor.

We cant go full scale rebuild because we dont control our own picks. Even if we do recoup our assets, we'll likely be worse then the picks we do get. So we'd just be helping the spurs and getting scraps.
We not rebuilding…we just the hawks lmao. Portland east. We never really try to compete seriously.

Trae absolutely has to stop show boating and holding on to the ball so much and have a better shot solution in order for them to keep him.
I agree just keep JJ and build with him. I like DJ but i want to see my home team have a real chance at competing for a chip.
They don't own their own future picks. So they can't reap the fruit of bottoming out. Rebuild right now isn't an option. This opinion isn't based in reality.
I don’t think Landry Fields has the experience necessary to play with the cap and draft assets. Once Schlenk left so did my faith in this organization. We were supposed to be the spurs of the west with bud it was close then gm change with the whole Danny Ferry mess. Then the Warriors of the east and schlenk left.
But the hawks have not drafted well at all. I thought AJ Griffin was promising but Quinn Snyder did not agree. Why take a 3rd PG in Kobe Bufkin. Hunter goes into hiding sometimes, Cam was talented but unlucky.
Blowing up the team is not the answer. We have no first round picks.
The last part is important for sure
Trae, Ingram, Jalen, Okungwu, and Edy/K. Ware. Problem solved. Can't get Ingram, then get D. Bane from Memphis. Winning teams have a start in the back court and the front. We only have a star in the back.
