What? Team defense? I love Trae don't get me wrong. He just can't play defense. Without him did anybody score over 125? We lost 6 straight. He needs to try on defense like he did in the last 2 minutes. It'd be rude if he got traded then decided to put in effort on both ends
We need trea he was out for some time and got thrown into a playoff game he had one bad game he is our guy we need trea plz keep him
We are a hard team to play when we limit turnovers & are healthy.
I’d like to see Trae stay with the Hawks at least until we win at playoffs. I like DJ, but I don’t understand folks that think he can take this team where Trae can’t. Most folks are coming to games because of Trae. When he leaves ATL, people will see the difference. Trae isn’t the problem. We need a better roster. We’ve got about 6 solid, consistent players that can start, but the bench is just as important, and it isn’t consistently great. Then starters get injured and we’re at a huge deficit. Also not sure about QS. We’ve been to playoffs/playins consistently the last few years. I need to see more from him.
Hunter, Jalen, Trae, and Okongwu injuries really killed this season. Delete both Mathews & Fernando, pay Bol Bol to keep people out of the paint & be an intimidating help defender and this team wins 50 games next year. RUN IT BACK!
When is Hunter ever healthy? Keep living in play in delusion
If Quinn would’ve played the bench in the beginning we wouldn’t of had injuries
@@Halopunk90remember Luka's 73pts? Hunter didnt play in that game. While Hunter doesnt hunt at the level we wanted for a #4 pick, he would have neva allowed that many pts to be scored by any SG or SF in this league
ICE man Trae🥶.. this team be failing you boss, and it's quite obvious..the roster has gotta be overhauled and one with a MUCH better fit for you has gotta be built, along with a blueprint that allows both you and DJ to compliment each other more. Although both of yall all PGs and require the ball in your hands I still believe an offense can be devised to have the two of yall bring the BEST out of each other and the team!! Flush the 2023-2024 season we hawks fans look forward to big things for 2024-2025!!! 🦅🙏🏽
Trae Young, don't go to the Spurs. It's the assists that make you a superstar. If it were me, I wouldn't let him play the pick-and-roll (2vs2). It's because you're not living up to your full potential. Instead, have them play 5-on-5. All players must be able to make threes and alley-oops. You may think you don't have time, but you have a unique identity. We don't need another superstar. If there's another superstar, it's Collins. When the interval returns, so does he. He also had to realize that his spacing was more of a weapon than his newfound 3-point shot.
To all the masses using Trae's absence to draw facts and evaluate his worth against DJ, it's absolutely ridiculouse. One has got to recognize the fact that Trae has not had the time to play without DJ on the floor like DJ has had without him..we both know when together they're not the best solution for the team.. what's needed is to see both play individually without the other for the same amount of times be it 2 months or so then proper conclusions can be drawn
Quinn was horrible this year nobody speaking on that but Trae or DJ will be the scapegoat and he should’ve played Griffin early in the year call me crazy I think Nate McMillan is a better coach

Trae gotta stay moving. When he doesn't have the ball Steph is always running around creating angles, when Trae doesn't have the ball he is stand still. Trae & Murray can work together but it's gotta be 2 totally different approaches to offense depending upon which one brings the ball up. Get ya cardio up Trae it's the main issue that separates you from Steph's level
@@1RobertSmith valid point!!! If he can do that then maybe 1 more chance…. I say “maybe” because the lack of defensive heart and willingness is lacking with trae…. He gives up on plays and or displays little effort sometimes. Defense wins championships and we want to win in Atlanta….. also the turnovers are ridiculous as well…. If he can play D I’ll take the turnovers “I guess lol”
@@1RobertSmithyou can’t always put how he plays off the ball on him. Sometimes if not most of the time it’s the coaches responsibility to install an offense that makes sense. Snyder has yet to do that. In reality I think one of them needs to come off the bench as a six man. The team always played better when only one of those guys was on the court.
Curry Era is over. There are bigger hybrid guards starting to dominate the league.
