Shame about the large stack height, 4mm drop I have no issue with as that’s what most of my shoes are anyway

what shoe from Altra would you recommended for first timer ?

It depends what you're looking for. The FWD would be the easy answer to give, as its pretty versatile. The Torin is a good option for people that want a cushioned shoe for longer distances. The Rivera is slightly less wide and a nice daily trainer. Vanish Tempo is a nice one for people that want to run fast. 😊

Not sure what to think about those additional pillows inside near the ankles there. How do they compare to the Via Olympus TD? The stack height looks similar

Some days I like to switch to shoes w rocker and drop just for the feeling if it. I like theese

Looks good! Hoka are too narrow, so these might be a good choice. Torin are my main shoe, but I like to switch them up

How deep is it compared to other models?
