LUT and ENV won’t affect fps generally, Graphics settings With Path tracing and Ray tracing will affect fps, and te tires mods and draw/lod mods will affect GPU VRAM

The problem with these videos is, that they look great and all, but when you look at the mod list, many of the mods introduce countless unsolved bugs to the game...
So yeah, my game might look epic - if my hardware can deal with it - but then my game is an accident waiting to happen when I try to actually play it.
EDIT: PLEASE prove me wrong. I'd really like to give this mod list a try, however, only if the game remains playable.

Honestly i think this looks awful 😂 and its always this "realism" shit that people think look good. But there is a good reason no Artist is doing this in their games because its not looking like a beautiful piece of art but like the bland real world, which obviously isnt beautiful.at all
I dunno if I'd go as far as to say this looks awful but I def wouldn't want to run this while playing as it looks bland and washed out. The default color w/ PT really makes the game pop w/ vibrance.

But if you already have a PC with decent components, the upgrade costs are minimum.

I cant imagine the next Cyberpunk in 5 or 6 years. From the begging, CDPR are the studio who do a total makeover from a game to another (not Ubisoft here)... Cyberpunk 2077 is just the first hard try in this kind of design and universe, just like The Witcher 1 was for The Witcher serie...

fallout 3 or cyberpunk, that type of "games" arent games, are movie simulators plus character manager, you only are a designer in that games. The challenge dont exist, because you design the challenge, you only decide statistics or story in your virtual character, not improve real player skills. This arent games.
Deus ex HR, syndicate 2012, mirrors edge saga, commandos strike force, crysis, half-life saga, turok 2008, RAGE, dark messiah, stalker, alien isolation... That are inmersive fps games with amazing graphics, npcs, enviroments... where you play as a player, no designer. You decide what skills give to you virtual character to help your real player skills, not to break the challenge.

I adjusted the brightness and contrast sliders on the ps4 version of this game and it looked like this at 20/30fps. Went to a friends house and his ps5 had settings that made the game look WAY worse but it was 60fps which was refreshing.
It truly hurt this game refusing to give weapons ammunition based damage, and giving enemies "borderlands" style difficulty with high health bars instead of real difficulty based on aim accuracy sliders.
It makes sense that most enemies wouldnt be very accurate with guns, they wouldnt be skilled or go to a shooting range with proper advice.

gawdamm. just how is this possible? could someone with the knowledge explain, for example at 4.22 the patches in the road, and the chalk drawings...did a VFX person have to design each one, or is there some kind of scanning + procedural generative process?
The developers design a lot of textures and then use them in the map. Maybe they also use some random programs to make patches etc : )

With RT you may get a very similar look, but I think PT makes the difference, You could try PT with FSR 3 mod that helps to get better fps, and play in 1440p.
I watched this video in HDR on my S21Ultra and I'm blown away, the graphics in this game look incredibly realistic. I will definitely play Cyberpunk someday but I need to upgrade my PC first because my old PC can barery run this game (30fps dips) and I didnt want to play like that. Next month I'm buying 7800X3D and I also need some new GPU. I hope that something like the 4070ti Super will be able to run this game well at 1440p.

Hey!! Thanks! For the settings, it depends a lot what monitor you have, I have the Alienware DW OLED, so I use 1000 nits and for tone mapping I use 2.4, also, I use a reshade to fix the black floor problem and Clarity. The link is in the description : )

Hey!! Well, The first one you mean is the ENV, the LUTos just for color grading no lighting changes, I the new use FUJI ENV and Kuria LUT : )

@@IronmanToday fantastic thanks! I have been trying to install whatever mods I can find that can enhance the game graphically. I have to do some trial and error though. Even though I have a pretty "beefy" computer some of the 4k/8k texture mods make my RTX 4070 super have problems with a consistent frame rate. and it also seems no matter even if I download ALL of the mods I see in videos like this. I can never get my game to look as good haha. I'm sure it took a lot of tweaking and whatnot besides JUST installing the mods. but it was a great video, and once again thanks for the info!

Hey!! Thanks for the comment! About the settings, that’s strange if you get 50 fps with a 4090, not way. My setting are all in max everything, if you play in 4K the only thing you need to change is DLSS from quality to performance. If that doesn’t work something is wrong with a Mod or something else, maybe the CPU.
