- Hello and welcome to my latest tutorial.
To make this pendant you will need -
• 0.8mm wire (20g), 4 x 11" (28cm)
• 0.3mm weaving wire (28g) approx 200cm (I wind mine onto a bobbin, but you can cut lengths as you go if you prefer)
• Crescent moon shaped cabochon, mine is 25mm, and 15mm at the widest part (you can use a different size, just remember to adjust wire length and weave repeats accordingly)
• beads, you'll need a selection of small beads, ranging between 2-5mm
I no longer put links to tools on here.
The tools I use are:
• Tronex needle nose pliers
• Tronex short round nose pliers
• Tronex razor flush cutters
• Beadsmith flat nose nylon jaw pliers
• Occasionally I use tronex bent nose pliers
• Occasionally I use heavy-duty wire cutters
• Occasionally I use xuron needle nose pliers
• Bobeeze bobbins (medium size with no extra weights)

Wow what a beautiful moon pendant, hugs from Chile =)
What kind of stone is? It's beautiful
Thank you, chalcedony I think 💕
Gorgeous design Kelly! Can you let me know what type of wire and beads you use please, is it sterling silver wire and beads or aluminum or something else? Many thanks
Thanks so much. I've used sterling and fine silver wire with sterling beads but you can use whatever you like 😊 I prefer the uncoated wire because it's softer and it lasts, also the beads, the silver tends to rub off over time if it's coated.
Beautiful 🙏❤
Thank you 😊💕
I'm in love with your work! It's beautiful! What supplier do you get your stones from?
Thank you, I get them off Instagram and Facebook and Etsy 👍
Lovely
Thanks so much 😊
Are you using sterling silver or silver plated?
I used sterling base wires and fine silver weaving wires 👍
Hi, Kelly! Should I use a dead soft or medium temper wire for this? I love your design. I saved your tutorial several weeks ago but just now I have time to give it a try. ☺
I always use dead soft for everything, sometimes wire can be really tough on your hands, the dead soft is also quite tough too (quite deceiving that it's called dead soft really) 😅 Hope that helps, have fun 💕
What is the name of the stone you are using? It's beautiful
Thank you, I think it's chalcedony
Thank you. You do such lovely work
Hi can you link where you get the wires and beads and everything from online
I don't have the links. I buy my silver from Rio Grande, and sometimes cooksongold. I think I got my beads from Rio too, otherwise search 3mm etc sterling silver beads on Etsy and check the hole sizes 👍
👍👍👍♥️
Thanks 😊
