I was surprised by the wonderful balance of the house. Not so ornate and gaudy. Pretty much modern in its clean lines. Mr. Davidson obviously was a forward thinker and he wanted his home to reflect his thinking. Thank you and I’m pleased that the house is being used today.

Lovely Manhattan mansion. Glad that it's still standing.
I always have to pause these videos to take in the exquisite details.
First time hearing of a car turntable in a garage, but I like the idea.
Looking forward to seeing Mr. Davison's country estate.
The stories of the people who owned these houses are as interesting as the houses.
    Thanks again, Ken

I have seen the Manhattan house on several occasions but never the interior until now. The interior appears to be quite sophisticated, elegance in restraint, delivering the promise of the exterior. Walker and Gillette were very accomplished architects. I would love to see more of their work.

Yes!, and a whole block of grand houses on Park, from 69th Street to 68th Street. These big old houses almost entirely end up as consulates or museums, not embassies since New York is not the capital. Even billionaires either don't want that much space and upkeep expense or, even more likely, that much visibility. So much easier to buy a virtually mansion size apartment on Park or Fifth in buildings housing other billionaires.

I like the spacious rooms with a more restrained decor relative to the city mansions of his peers. I also appreciate its compactness; it doesn’t go on and on like a country house. And that turntable is not only cool but a nice safety feature!

The problem is ppl and organizations that exceed the power of our own gov who then push policy on all of us w out our blessing or request. This will not stop until we somehow figure that crux.

Yea and they did it for the good of the ppl. LOL What a laugh! Our entire system is a joke, and its not what the PEOPLE intended or wanted. This was done outside of our elected officials. If i had a time machine. Id love to meddle w/ threads like this.

"Nixon" spelled Inside-Out = X-I-O-N-N. Xi becomes Dragon for Life of Xionn.
See Kissinger's New Order for the World -- K.N.O.W.
"You have destroyed yourselves with your endless wars of Gods. Now bow down and worship Your Beast."
      That's what Xi says.

Don't care for the paneled like living room. Would have enjoyed a look at the new technical developments & non public areas of the house including servants areas.
